  1. Hey all!

So, I had plans to move the PullMyFinger tactical wiki off of Wikispaces, because of rising prices. The price rise turned out to be less than it seemed, and moving off the server turned out to be technically very challenging. So, I'm not moving it any time soon.

I've started to populate the Wiki with updated Broken Promises content. I hope you'll do the same!

  2. It's been a while since I've played Levy, but here's my usual thoughts on Anchors:

You want three Anchors, every time. You can add more, but I usually assume that my Levy Crew will be split in three.

One should be a sniper who hangs out toward the back and is really stable so you never run out of Anchors. I often use Lazarus or Ryle for this one. For this you want durability and a ranged attack.

One should be fast and durable, able to get up and hold territory. I generally rely on Ashes and Dust here. But I generally rely on Ashes and Dust a lot when I'm playing Leveticus. Sometimes I'll use Valedictorian instead.

The last doesn't have to be as durable or powerful, but should be fast and good at board control. Sometimes I'll use a Dead Doxy for this (and pair her with a Rotten Belle to zip Leveticus up the board fast turn one.) Sometimes I'll use a Soulstone Miner so it can just appear where I need it upfield. Sometimes I'll go nuts and make it Bete Noire or a Hodgepodge Emissary or Mechanical Rider. Something manueverable that can pack a punch and do some useful board tricks.

That's about what I do! Hope this is helpful!

  3. Yeah! I have won a tournament or two with a similar list. Aionus speeds up nearby Gremlins in the first rounds as he rolls up with them toward the middle. He can also speed up Merris, who can then get a ridiculous 4AP + (0) action and do tricks like drop a scheme marker, move, drop a scheme marker, move, drop a scheme marker.

Here's the Crew I typically use: Somer + Family Tree, Can of Beans, Encouragement. Ainous. Merris + Show Off. Skeeters x 2. Lightning Bug (for healing). Bayou Gremlins x 5.

    Unpainted models are allowed.
As a motivation to paint we will be having a competition for best painted crew. Those who use unpainted models will be disqualified.

  5. Great question! So, the answer is, I've started a new site for PMF (one Google Sites) and I've been porting stuff over, but I haven't announced it yet.

The import process is all by hand, which is annoying.

You should be able to edit the Wikispaces site if you are logged in.

New announcement on this coming up in the next few days - sorry for the delay!

Is there a plan for adding this to iTunes?

Okay, I tried to set this up. I really did. It looks like I cannot add the podcast to iTunes without installing iTunes on my laptop, and my laptop is Ubuntu, which doesn't run iTunes. I'll try to figure out a workaround or try from a different machine or something, but right now I still can't do this. Sorry!

  7. Models only take Terrifying tests from enemy models. While under Comply, the model is friendly to its own Crew plus Sybelle. It will still have a Terrifying check from other models in Sybelle's Crew (so she can make something Walk up to Seamus and fail the check).

Actions aren't considered resolved until all followups are also resolved, so the model still considers Sybelle friendly until after the ended-near-an-enemy check for Terrifying.

  8. I mostly use Wokou Raiders with Parker, since they're Bandits. In melee, they're nearly unkillable and often opponents don't even try. So get them in melee with an enemy and you're good.

They have scheme marker tricks that synergize with the rest of the Crew (if they do their scheme marker trick near a Dead Outlaw and Parker, it's two pushes, a healing, a removed marker, and extra cards or soulstones all in one action). They have a ranged attack which is fine.

But the main thing is, they hold territory against melee opponents like nobody's business.

    @Hateful Darkblack,

would you kindly share any news on moving PullMyFinger to a new URL?

    Thank you :)

Thanks for asking! I have been tyring other Wiki solutions and haven't found any that are working as well as the current site. Still looking and will announce when something is set up and I start transferring over. In the meantime, I think it's going to be in its current location.

  10. Honestly, the more I played Brewmaster, the more I found that the Drinking Contest Tarpit bubble was a losing fight -- I could grab and disable one or two models reliably, but that wasn't supporting the rest of the crew well and eventually my opponent would probably find a way to clear Poison or kill Brewmaster.

I actually kinda like spreading the Hangovers and using Brewmaster for debuffs to set up another model for kills. (Usually a Rooster Rider or Francois.)

And once you stop doing the Drinking Contest Bubble as your omni-hammer, you stop putting Brewmaster in harm's way, and you stop needing Ill Omens quite so crucially.
