  1. Terrifying only affects living models, Pandora removes all immunities that people have to Wp duels, a morale duel is a Wp duel. Are non-living models regarded as mmune or does terrifying just not affect them as it's a rule that specifically targets living? Eg. Bad Juju is in melee with Pandora, thus within 12 and loses any of his immunities to Wp duels. Can Pandora cast Trapped In Your Own Nightmare to make Bad Juju potentially run away from her, or would he still not be affected as terrifying itself doesn't target non-living models at all?
  2. Lilitu and Lelu are Nightmares, Nephilim, and Woes. I don't see any specific rules for Nephilim and Woes saying they're non-living, but the rules states that they're living unless stated otherwise, which Nightmares are Non-living. So would they be considered non-living for corpse counter purposes? Because from the way I read the rules they're Living and Non-Living at the same time. :S This would also be a question regarding terrifying too, lol
  3. Neverborn Crew - 35 - Scrap Zoraida, the Hag -- 5 Pool Ophelia Lacroix [9ss] Francois Lacroix [6ss] Lelu [7ss] Lilitu [7ss] Pere Ravagé [6ss] Not sure how effective it'd be, but I want to show up to a tournament playing Zoraida but using (some) Gremlins. I was also thinking of using something like Neverborn Crew - 35 - Scrap Zoraida, the Hag -- 6 Pool Lelu [7ss] Lilitu [7ss] Papa Loco [7ss] Pere Ravagé [6ss] Rami Lacroix [7ss]
  4. Thanks, I thought that's how it went, just thought I'd clarify though. Also would the Bayou Gremlin take 2 or 3 dmg? I think his ability says half the wounds inflicted, so I'd assume 2, but I just want to make sure, don't want to cause any disagreements down the road, we're all still learning the game.
  5. With armor, do you do the damage reduction before or after damage multipliers? Also does it affect the dmg taken in return? For example, a Bayou Gremlin can double his dmg with a trigger. So he hits with his Rusty Weapon for 1/2/3, but since he got a ram during the duel he can double the dmg and take half dmg in return. He flips and get severe, so he does 6 dmg and takes 3 in return normally. Say the opponent has Armor 2. Would he do 3 minus the 2 from armor, then double or would he double then minus 2 from the armor? How much dmg would he end up doing and taking in that scenario?
  6. I might be starting The Dreamer soon (or Rasputina) and I was wondering what I should get in addition to the starter box. I was thinking of getting the starter, a blister of his totems, and Alps. Then getting a Teddy when I get paid next. I was thinking a Teddy because the model looks hilarious and Alps, because I noticed they can be summoned by the Coppelius, though I haven't ever seen anything from Neverborn in action, so I have no idea what is really worthwile getting for the Dreamer. I have a ranged crew atm, so I was thinking something more melee focused. No one I play with plays Neverborn atm. We got Ophelia (me), Viktorias, Sonnia, Kirai, and Marcus. I was gonna get either The Dreamer or Rasputina asap, and then get the one I don't get the next time I can make it to the town that sells Malifaux in the area. I just like the lore behind The Dreamer as an unsuspecting kid unleashing hell upon the inhabitants of Malifaux, and Lord Chompy Bits is an awesome model and the name is hilarious.
  7. Thanks for the reply, the store that has Malifaux in my area didn't have anything but Slop Haulers, so I picked the blister up. I might be going back to the town tomorrow depending, so I might just start a second master for the time being, until they can get some Bayou Gremlins and Young LaCroix in stock. It's like an hr drive to the store, cause the local one doesn't stock Malifaux.
  8. Thanks for the help. I think I'm going to pick up Slop Haulers and Young LaCroix the next time I'm able to. Will I need more than 4 Bayou Gremlins in the end? I plan on getting So'mer eventually (gonna collect any and all Gremlins), but I want to focus on getting my Ophelia crew done before I expand and get all things Gremlin.
  9. I've only had one game of Malifaux, and I got the Ophelia box so far. I'm eventually going to look into getting Mr Jones, but for now I want to stick with Ophelia. What would you suggest to get next? Should I get Ophelia's totems and then Jones and his Mosquitos? Eventually I want all the Gremlins, but I want to know what my next immediate purchase should be to add to the Ophelia box I got. I could prob get 2 boosters or a box in the near future. I'd probably want more of a gunline than pigs or whatever, what attracted me to Ophelia was I wanted Perdita, but I also wanted Gremlins, so I got Ophelia
  10. Thanks. So if it's one of the gremlins that do double (or triple) and then take half the damage they deal, they can do it if it will kill them, but Ophelia can't since her's is listed as just doing 1 WD? We're all just learning Malifaux, we've only had a few games each, it's so much different from Warhammer, but also so much fun and much more affordable for both new players and existing players wanting to try out different crews and lists.
  11. Ophelia and her crew have the trigger ability to double their dmg in exchange for taking damage. My question is, are they allowed to use said abilities if it will end up killing them? Example, Ophelia has 1 wd left, and she gets a ram to trigger the ability and doubles her severe damage to 8, but she takes 1 wd and as a result she would die. is this allowed?
