Well it's a cheese list because I typically take bodyguard for Schill & Perdita and make them stay with Guardian, Df 8 on Dita and slow to die + soulstone heal on Schill make this combo VERY difficult to deal with, except armor ignorers...damn them!! But you know I have been waiting for critiques and help playing guild as no one in my meta runs with guild. What suggestions do you have for staple takes with Dita or J if she's better? I completely understand the all comers list being a waste as Malifaux is a game of great dynamics and multiple factors but surely there are staple models as in Lucius with Justice. All help is greatly appreciated!! =)

So then which is the more competitve master? And can someone please explain the awesome synergy of the student of conflict and lucius with Lady J as I have not played these models together and have no idea what they are capable of. In addition, I usually run Perdita [5ss] Von schill Guardian Witchling stalker Witchling stalker Witchling stalker Watcher as an all comers list, but is the Lady J + lucius + student of conflict more potent than this? I have a rules question to pose to the community, If a minion or master hits Kirai with a poison trigger and she redirects the damage to a connecting seishin does she still receive the poison or does the seishin? In addition, if she does receive the poison, when she activates can she redirect the poison damage to one of her seishin?

The fact that they are insignificant is just a slap in the face, but think of it this way, if alps were rare 3 that's still a 9ss commitment and there damage and dehibilitating effects are suitable of a 9ss model, think Teddy power, Coppelius, Von Schill, the riders. In addition, they are still weak enough and easily disposed.

I think it's a shame how they were cuddled to the ground; so much so, that they aren't even included in beginning lists anymore. I will submit that a better balancing option would have been to keep them the way there were and make them rare 3 instead.

So I generally run 35ss games with the dreamer and feel like less than 3 alps is a waste; however, I was wondering how people have been utilizing these guys post cuddle. I mean at 3ss a piece and running three that's a 9ss commitment and there are other things I feel are of much better use, a teddy, another daydream and lelu, etc. Just curious how other people view and use them if at all anymore and what a typical 35ss dreamer list might look with them in it.

And that is how I understood it as well, Model X casts a spell where Model Y flips to resist and said action is considerded an attack; for general knowledge if the spell had "friendly models" printed would the spell then be able to affect Lilith as well?

Hello all I've been reading Karn's tactica and I have read the wikispaces tactica talked to a few people from my club including the henchman and so far I have gotten mixed responses so I've decided to pose the question to the community and forgive me if it's already been answered, but with the new errata can Lilith use transposition on herself? I'm looking at you marshals! =)

So what I've gotten from this discussion is it's not a matter who you play, but rather preference and how you play, with that being said, save high masks for Nino's trigger happy and cast obey from nephilim(mask built in) on Nino for a second round of possible headshots. Using Abuela requires you to use her shotgun wedding to make her worth her points and may only be used once so only take one off family model. In addition Perdita can make it with 2-5ss and to keep her activations clear of obey unless it serves a specific purpose. So maybe drop the 2 mercs and add a convict gunslinger leaving me with 3ss cache and an extra model able to rapid fire, who has paired pistols, bulletproof and yet another opportunity to trigger happy making him on par with Santiago with the additional benefit of becoming a family member for possible alpha strike and as a kicker has gunfighter and faster n' you.

I am definately starting to get an understanding that Obey is not a primary source and should be used sparingly saving high masks for trigger happy's. In addition, I was wondering how many stones does Perdita typically need to stay alive, I know her 8 DF is impressive, but how many is a good starting number?

Since starting this thread I have found a better way to phrase the question I have actually wanted to ask which is; which models do you consider staples when playing perdita in a 35ss cache game and which are your flexible options. After playing a few games I feel that a relatively standard base list I take is Perdita Von Schill Enslaved Nephilim keeping the rest open for flex, typically 3 stalkers & Guardian for arcanist, 3 marshals & Guardian for ressurectionist and guild, Nino//Santiago//Francisco for neverborn. As for the outcast match up I'm not sure and could use some advice The tournament is: fixed masters One round 35ss Assigned strategies every game Pick your own schemes meta is variable I've seen: justice, rasputina, lilith, zoraida, sonnia, LCB

Thank you pockets, the ruling is becoming clearer, since I am a new player I was just hoping I could ask one more question. How is it that Teddy would become an attacker after being attacked and what does "simple duel" mean?

So my friend and I were playing a game the other day and I attempted to hit Teddy with a haunting melody trigger off of pipes in order to go around his immune to influence ability as I have read on the forums, but when he asked me why and how it worked I had no idea ! So with that can another more experienced player please explain how this trigger gets around immune to influence?

I had not thought about that , thanks for the suggestion. Are the two Mercs without a nurse really more efficient than a gunslinger?

I have been playing Mcmourning for a little while now and he is hands down my favorite master, the power of a melee monster like Lilith or Lady Justice combined with survivability and versatility to make new things, anywho, along the way I have tried to come up with a competitive list to play with at our local tournaments (usually 35ss games). This is what I have so far ... 35ss crew 10 models Mcmourning 6ss cache Dead rider 10ss Grave spirit 1ss Sebastian 6ss Canine remains 2ss Canine remains 2ss Canine remains 2ss Canine remains 2ss Rotten belle 4ss Convict gunslinger 6ss The question I wanted to pose to the community is if mcmourning can cut it with only 6 stones or should I drop a pup and make it 8, additionally, if there are staple models that you may have played with that should be in this crew in lou of something else.
