And great composition, and details))thanks, I used a lot of techinques to get the weatehring done. acrylic paints, acrylic washes, oils and thinners, oil washes, streaking effects and in the end pigments... glad you like it

The portal is backlit. I used a green LED placed behind the portal that was made from transparent heavy gel. I really wanted the portal to pop out but be transparent as well and I couldn't get that effect with paints alone. However, when photographing I used plenty of light around the entry so the OSL effect of the portal would be minimal - as this was not the point why I used the LEDs...
