  1. Lol np. Just to clarify all pushes ignore disengaging strikes
  2. Pretty sure he meant pushes. So yes the warpig can use his pigcharge to push himself out of combat without them getting a disengaging strike
  3. Mostly what i expected except.. ...this is the main part that had me confused. It would seem like if you move partially then stop your movement to stop climbing and drop down your left over movement would be lost due to you stopping your movement to do so. Unless i am missing something which i very well may be >.> lol. I am not saying you are wrong or anything just wondering why you are able to interrupt your movement to drop down and then continue that same actions movement it all.
  4. So my main question is are you able to intentionally stop climbing to just fall? So you decide you do not want to climb all the way down something you are climbing can you just say ok i stop somewhere in the middle and just fall. I will take the damage flip(s). Or do you have to either finishing climbing down or take a (2) jump action? If that's true and you can do that then say you are starting your action and you are 4" from the bottom of whatever you are climbing down and your wk is 6. can you choose to climb down 2" (4" out of your 6" wk) just fall the last 2" and get your last 2" of movement when you hit the ground while avoiding a damage flip for only a 2" fall? Or will you have to end your movement to drop the last 2" so your movement is done? One last thing about the (2) jump action i mentioned before. If you are climbing down something and you are 5" from the bottom and your wk is 4 and you take a (2) jump action to jump down your 2" and fall the remaining 3" do you take fall damage? i know you take 1 damage flip for every full 3" you fell. But jump says the model can move up to 1/2 of its wk distance from a higher elevation to a lower one, or vice versa, without suffering damage. Does that refer to only the distance moved in your jump action or any movement after your jump action as well? Pretty sure i know how these work but i have seen some people using them in ways that i am not quite sure are correct but i have enough doubt to not say they are wrong so i want to double check. Sorry for the multiple questions but they all kind of branched off of each other.
  5. Oh nilus I see. I think you meant 35 not 53. I see it now though. That's interesting because in book 1 climb was its own action and none of us thought to check and see if it was still an action. I'm glad you brought that to my attention now we can start playing that right >.>. Now I see what you're saying although for this situation I assume that specific terrain piece wasnt climbable anyway. Thanks for all the replies its all pretty clear now
  6. I was only watching part of the game and didn't see if they said it was climbable. I have been assuming it wasn't climbable because the terrain piece was flat and round at the top and completely straight up and down. Didn't see how something could climb that.
  7. Climbing isn't its own action any more? O.o that's news to me lol. I have been playing it as if it was. If that's the case then I really don't know. I see nothing on 53 about that thought. Not sure what I'm doing wrong
  8. But distance isn't the question. The push from link is unlimited so that doesn't matter. But climb and walk are different actions. If you can't walk there you can't push there is the issue. So since you can't "walk" straight up it you can't push there
  9. Correct. Which is exactly what I thought and what I told them.. but they enjoy misreading things it seems and not listening to logic so I had to check on here for clarification.
  10. Climbing would be a seperate action. I was talking about the sorrows link movement. They just push to the linked model. On their own action yeah they could climb. Just not part of the push
  11. Alright thanks for the quick response. That's what I thought
  12. So I'm watching a game and I'm slightly confused. Its zoraida vs pandora. Pandora has 3 sorrows attached to z. My question is can z cast repulsive to push the sorrows away then cast raven and fly up on a building with verticle walls so the sorrows can't follow her up with link? I know link can move as far as needed but can it move straight up a verticle wall?
  13. That is pretty much exactly what i was thinking. If i went with the list with Z it would just seem like i didnt quite have enough. I could drop the second list to 2 stitched and add a 4th wicked doll and keep a 2ss cache. Couldnt hurt just in case i get into some trouble
  14. And i also agree if you want some big hitter go for one not immune to influence so you can obey them.
  15. Luckily for you then stitched arent living models since they are nightmares . Plus she wont kill them anyway seeing as how they sacrifice themselves when they die.
  16. Ahh yeah without Z it slows that down quite a bit. I still havnt played a game with Collodi sadly. I played a league match today but ran the dreamer because im still missing a few models for Collodi. They are ordered just not here yet. But when they are here I will be sure to try him out.. hmm is Collodi a he? When the models get here i think im gunna try -25ss- Z 7 ss cache Collodi -Primordial Magic 4x Marionette Stitched or Collodi 0ss cache 4x marionettes 3x stitched 3x Wicked Dolls Only 25ss because thats what our league is at for now to try and get new players into it. I kinda like the second list more for 25ss because of the model count. Plus with just Collodi it would be more simple to test him without Z
  17. How come stitched seem slow to you? If you only run 2 you can get them pretty far. turn 1 z and the voodoo doll can each obey one to charge 6" collodi can give each of them fast right? so move move move 12" youre at 18" and can still put up fog if you want. So even the slow stitched can get 6" from your opponents deployment zone turn 1 fairly easily considering being that close turn 1 is probably quite unnecessary most of the time. Unless i am missing something of course. Which i might be.. still havnt got a chance to get a game in with him
  18. Ok thank you that is very good to know. Thanks for answering all of these questions. Was just rather confused as to what the definition of an effect actually was
  19. So the said abilities that models will get no matter what are what exactly? Any ability actually printed on the card? so anything like fast melee expert hard to wound slow to die anything like that just keeps coming back since its actually printed on the card correct? But temporary effects such as the desp mercs do not because they are temporary? Just making sure i understand this correctly is all
  20. Hmm ok i think i am starting to get it. So to be clear a spell isnt an effect right? They can produce effects but they themselves arent effects?
  21. I am still trying to find out the exact definition of an effect. Not necessarily about the dispel magic. Just the term effect confuses me somewhat. It seems extremely broad. From what i see it seems to be anything that falls under the ability category with a bold term. Also lets say a spell gives you an aura.. can you dispel magic on that model and the aura is gone? I am really not trying to be difficult its just that an "effect" does not have a clear definition to me.
  22. So then for clarification what exactly is an effect? I read it in the rules manual but it just kinda confused me. What the rules manual says seems to imply that pretty much everything is an effect of some sort. Is that pretty much true? If thats the case dispel magic pretty much just gets rid of anything then?
  23. I know I can't use 4.. but sadly 2 come in the dreamer box and 2 in the blister so I couldn't really end up with 3 lol.. kinda awkward A couple things I'm not so sure on.. when the doppelganger takes zoraidas walk in that example is it because she used raven for wk 10? If so I think raven is till end of activation. Other then that pretty nice though. I thought 4 marionettes was kinda mandtory. How does having 3 work out for you?
