Nice natural feeling to that base.

Oh man! Damien! I'm glad someone else remembers that game...

Thanks! Glad the contrast read, I was a little worried it would just look uncolored from the back.
On the light source, cowboys always seem to be hanging out around camp fires at night, so I was kinda' thinking that. Either the victim had been, or maybe cowboy camp fires are an instinct that even death can't prevent.

+1 for the one coming out of the skeleton being nice

Fun story, though her standing on the rock like that is a bit weird.
-
Heh, clever riff on the concept.
-
Fun concept, though waghorn's got a point, particularly the one that's a different style kinda' brought it down for me.
-
Heh, fun concept.

Props for doing OSL hand-painted, airbrush is so much faster but doesn't have anywhere near the texture. Fun idea, and the silhouette was immediately recognizable even before adding the mini.

Cute, I like the eyes in particular.
-
Skin's a little shiny, but I love the cloth.

Love the uh, mob star dealies on the shoulders (I assume you've seen eastern promises? certainly reminded me of that aesthetic... well, with added penguin), and his weird butt eyes.

Thanks, all!
Soren, yeah, grew up on that series, OoT is still probably my favorite stand-by game... there's something effortless about it that I still don't quite understand... they managed to make a small and fairly linear world seem vast.
SEG, thanks re: the lantern, yeah- I got bored painting just orange lanterns so have started doing other styles. Also, fixed it for you:

I'm definitely doing at least a few more members of the Band of the Hawk besides the completely obvious reference- I've got a Griffith model on the way for some minor conversions, have most of Casca (sp?) planned, and I'm definitely considering a few of the supporting characters.
And yeah, I love playing with references- my take on a steampunk Samus, which I proxy as Von Schill (though she's seeing a bit of age, and I'll probably touch up the paint job soon)-

nice glow effect, considered doing her, too.

Very nice hat- colors are perfect
-
Really impressive cobweb effect, there.
-
Nice touch, with the bat.

Cool base effect!
-
Nice tile effect!
-
Very nice face and jade.

Thanks! I was trying something like Takashi from Akira, glad the glow/transparency thing came across.

Well, turns out that this got massively rescaled. The image at original dimensions of under 1mb below (probably need to click the image to show at full res)

Cool, thanks!
I really like gluttony, and whichever one it is with the fiddle.
