  1. Bete is absolutely amazing, but the opponent you're facing has to be using living or undead models. If you want a model that's less situational, try the dead rider. Catching a model and pulling it along to be bludgeoned by the rest of your crew is always a treat to see. Also, the copycat killer is VERY unreliable (though pulling off Face of Death and having a Terrifying 14 leprechaun is quite amusing), so the grave spirit is a better choice for a totem unless you plan on taking Seamus' Avatar, which is always a joy but tends to not work well against high WP, high damage-output crews.
  2. Once you know how to use the Dead Rider (making sure he's not caught in the open after his drag-alongs), he's a fantastic and versatile utility model. Definitely worth the 10 points. A bit restrictive if you want any other high point models though, and a few times he's been caught out in the open due to sheer stupidity. Bete Noire is also AMAZING, but if you end up facing a construct-heavy crew you are screwed, brotha! I've also recently tried out Molly, and she has some interesting spells to bring to the table. Plus you can bring an extra totem! Convict Gunslingers are always a good choice. If you like punk zombies, then take one or two of them; however, even with luring I've had issues getting them in flurry range, so they usually just end up cutting themselves to do damage. I do like Cornelious' idea of keeping a punk zombie by Seamus for protection, but with a large enough soulstone cache and clever play you don't really need[url=http://www.wyrd-games.net/member.php?3563-Cornelious1424] to worry about protecting the Hatter.
  3. Hi Grimlen, I'm from the Tri-cities area, and I recently started playing as well. Just placed an order for a Seamus crew this past weekend, and looking forward to gaming without proxies! Once I get the hang of the game, it would be awesome to start playing against fellow gamers from around the Lower Mainland (hell, I'll count Northern folk in too ).
