  1. Say what you will about GW and their business practices but their plastic kits are amazing. If any company could get that same level of quality I would say switch to it. However, I am not a fan of PP plastic kits. Preferring plastic I was already to jump on the bandwagon but after working with their stuff for a while, I determined personally, I did not like them. If done properly plastic is the way to go, however, it appears that is easier said than done. on that note, I really dislike resin. I'm one that loves to customize and I find resin the hardest to work with. (not to forget to mention resin dust is bad for you).
  2. Now that I have seen your magical cobblestone tool, I'm not only impressed with your work but your dedication also. It must take forever to make an entire board to look like that.
  3. great work! I would also really like to see a picture of this magical brass cobblestone maker.
  4. personally, I've switched to brush on primers. Less fumes seems better for your health.
  5. hi there. I know the online store lists some, but is there anywhere that has a complete compilation of who sculpted what for Wyrd? I like knowing this type of info because if I see a sculpt I like, I'll look to see what other stuff that sculptor did (wyrd or not wyrd) and may buy a few of those also to paint. thanks!
  6. Oh yeah. I totally understand the difficulty in such a service but it never hurts to ask. generally I look for things like wings, weapons, bandaged limbs, etc. Generally things that I estimate the price I pay to buy them is a greater value than the time I would have to spend to properly sculpt it. I do use PPs part service and GW bits with some frequency.
  7. maybe I'm the only one that wants this. Also is this the right forum? it's a suggestion for the site but also pertains to miniatures...hmm...anyways... I understand it takes a bit of infrastructure (having the sufficient stock for bits, determining the correct pricing etc) to do this so it may not be always financially possible, but I would love it if at some point Wyrd offers a parts service for their online store. It would certainly make it easier for conversions, well more affordable anyways. Or maybe a parts request service for certain bits, since looking at the minis I currently have on the table a large number a single part molds.
  8. I use the following Vallejo game and model (not too fond of their metallics though) GW (especially, their washes and metallics) P3 Reaper Master Series at some point, I'd like to try some Andrea paints and the reaper HD I think they are all pretty good paints, it depends on your personal preference. I really like watery fluid paints so I may lean slightly towards reaper and P3. But I use all those brands often. Sometimes it depends on the colour I want, sometimes my mood, sometime just whatever is there. (unless it's a wash or metallic, then I lean heavily towards GW as my personal pref)
