  1. I just wanted to thank Zack, David, Z and everyone else who helped us out at Giga-Bytes Cafe last night! Hooked! My buddy Jeremy and I went to watch some games and got a demo from Zack. Thanks for being so patient and explaining the rules. In my first game, I played Red Chapel Gang and Jeremy played Lady Justice. We've got the basics down and now and just need to practice. Even though Z lent me his models to play with, I fatally left ol' squishy Seamus out in the open and got squashed, but not before dealing out some serious hurt! I had Lady J right where I wanted her, but alas the fates were against me. We had a blast and I can't wait to play again. Damn you Wyrd - there goes the rest of my disposable income! :-)
  2. That reminds me, I need to grab that GenCon Teddy scupt before Friday!
  3. Hi, this is Paul and I coincidentally live in Kennesaw, GA where the Wyrd offices are :-). I'm a software guy for HP and I have some business partners who's offices are a stones throw away from Malifaux ground zero :-) Hint, hint please say "stop in any time for a tour!" I wish! I'm just getting into the game with a couple local friends and hope to finish painting my first crew this week (Red Chapel Gang). We normally play other games at Hobby Town but I recently found out we can pick more games up at Giga-Bytes Cafe. I was wondering if there are any local demos coming up or if anyone in the area would be willing to walk us through the basics. Just send me a note if you want to volunteer to help some long time gamers get started on the right foot. Like a lot of other gamers I know I have more interests than time (too many games and minis but not enough time to paint and play them all. I've culled my collection down considerably over the past few months so I can focus on a few games I really want to get into and play. Malifaux is at the top of that list. Love the sculpts, fluff and rules... just brilliant. So proud y'all are local and can't wait to get more involved in the game! - Paul
