  1. This is a question i have had in the back of my mind for a while. I have a good idea what the answer will be, but with Dr. Douglas McMourning's avatar in the third book I just need to make sure.

When you exchange a corpse counter for body part counters, are they considered to have been acquired from an enemy model if the corpse counter was placed when an enemy model dies?

Pretty sure the answer is no, but i like to be sure.

  2. close but no cigar.

a single action can only complete one of the manifest reqs. you have to pick. so if you kill something with dissection while it has rancid transplant on it, the body parts don't count towards the total to manifest.

you will have to kill something else or wait a turn.

It actually lists that as a rule to manifest the avatars? Well if that is the case several of the requirements for some of the avatars are going to be ridiculously difficult to complete.

  3. Cool! Though it requires a lot of stuff to go right, needing good cards (as you mentioned) and possibly costing several soulstones. Perfect storm. Still, very nice.

That's why it really hinges on comboing against the weakest enemy in the board. Hopefully they will really increase the odds of success.

I really just cannot wait to give it an attempt.

  4. Is it funny that i can see a way to get his requirements fulfilled in one activation?

    Pick a weaker enemy...

    1. (0)Scalpel Slingin for low damage and one body part.

    2. (1)Rancid Transplant :+fate:+fate.

    3. (1)Surgical Implements strike for low damage and one body part.

    4. (+1)Discard body part for fast.

    5. (1)Dissection for enough damage to finish the enemy model and three body parts.

You need two body parts to start with and a few good cards in hand and a weak enemy within six inches. It will take the entire activation but if you can pull it off it would cover both the requirements for McMournings Avatar.

  5. He keeps Rancid Transplant, and can summon 29 (Simulacrum 29) for 6 body parts if its not already on the table. in order to have 29 when he manifests there needs to be a flesh construct on the table, other wise he has to cut himself.

    Manifest:

1 - gain 5 body parts from ENEMY models

2 - Kill and enemy suffering from a Rancid Transplant

To hell with the victory points, this will definitely be my new goal in the game. I better go sharpen my scalpel.:decaypuppet

  6. isn't a mistake? I can't believe!

Well, does the new book have just the stats for the avatar's or does it also have corresponding illustrations? If it does there might be someone who has purchased it at the convention who can get to the bottom of this.

  7. I feel very conflicted over this as McMourning's avatar. One the one hand it looks that me model could be impressive and disturbing. On the other hand though, the other avatar forms still have some hint of the master they are generated from. I'm a little sad that you really cannot see any particular hint of McMourning. It looks more like a big flesh golem, rather than an avatar to me. But still, it is going to be an impressive looking piece.

A little scared to see how many body parts it might take to transform into this beast also.

  8. I was hoping to get some advice on how to deal with a player that appears to be lying about the abilities and actions of his pieces? I would like to know if there is an accepted way to confront the person about this?

:-fateThe situation happen when i was against a crew i have not fought before. The way he used the pieces did not seam right and later on looking back through the two books, and the V2 cards it seams as though he was blatantly lying about what he could do in at least 6 fairly critical point in the game.:-fate

I know I shouldn't let it bother me too much, but I would just like some advice on how i should handle it if it happens again.
