O.K. so I'm new to Malifaux and this site, and have forum based question. How do I set an avatar? How do I set a nifty pic or what not in my signature? sigh, i've never been good at this type of thing. thanks in advance for the help everyone.

Gentry, do you have a date for the first Malifaux gaming event as of yet? Unfortunately I will not be ready to play anytime too soon, but I would love to come down as a spectator.

Hello there everyone. as the topic says, I'm pretty much new to this site, this game, and this style of gaming altogether. I am veteran of W.o.W. currently, and looking to get out and actually interact with human beings, rather than just ripping them to pixel dust. I reside in Portland Or. and plan to attend some of the events that will hopefully be hosted by Gentry and his newly opened store "Portal games." Paid my first visit to Portal games a few days ago and purchased the Malifaux rules manual, (which is slightly confusing to me at this point) but i am very excited to become a part of this universe. I'm hoping to pick up my first starter pack of models some time in the next week or two, and take my first stab at miniature model painting. I'm sure i will be here at the forums often, researching, and looking for tips and tricks to make this a fun new adventure like I want it to be. I look forward to meeting you all over the next few weeks and months, and if any of you are in Portland, maybe even sitting down at a table for a skirmish or two.
