I'm going to invest in the Perdita box, and was going to get the Lilith box. However, from looking at it, once I have the Lilith box, I then need to buy 4 young nephilim and 3 more mature nephilim to be able to run the crew properly. Perdita, at least, seems to be a fully contained box. A lot of the boxes seem to require you to buy extras. Ramos needs more spiders and an electrical construct - Nicodem needs Mindless zombies... So, considering I'm on a tight budget, what box would work well against Perdita that doesn't need me to spend more money on getting it to run correctly?

What is the Gremlin starter box like? I like the look of the warpig rider and the other stuff in there!

I think I'm going to plump for Lilith and Perdita, well when payday rolls around.

Ok, discarding factions - which 2 starter boxes are nicely balanced - have some ranged, some close combat and are roughly equal... Once we have the hang of the rules, then we can start dabbling with factions and choosing our own direction to play

Well, a good pair of boxes for me and my firend to learn with would be funky Nevberborn and Arcanists - I DO have 9 arachnid models from a purchase before Malifaux existed! :marshmell

I just rolled on in here, I'm looking to start playing and, ideally, I'm after 2 good starter boxes. I like the look of the Neverborn - Kade and Candy box, and ideally the Arcanists, although just a box that would be well matched against Kade and Candy would be good to start with. Any suggestions?
