  1. on the mac I just select 6 per page on the layout and adjust them to be as large as possible without overlap. I'm quite certain there is a similar layout function on windows. you can cut them out and laminate them together and they make a nice solid card that way in the lamination pouches for pictures. Printing them out yourself is mostly only affordable if you already have a color printer and lamination supplies but it is likely that someone in your gaming group has these things if you don't. I print them out and laminate them for everyone in my guild ball group already and will probably do several crews worth of cards for M3E until the cards come to the FLGS.

  2. sooooo excited to see you get into Malifaux.

Your warmahordes batreps have single handedly interested me in warmachine and your quality reports with Malifaux would undoubtedly do the same for this game for other people. It has been really interesting to watch your batrep style and quality develop and I really think you do some of the best batreps out there.

I do hope you stick with the changes to Malifaux 2.0 (as it should actually make it easier with learning a new system right along with the rest of us).

  3. And I don't think Stitched can be turned into SPAs from Levi's spells. Anything that would kill it would activate Does Not Die and stop the SPA from appearing. Entropic Transformation only targets Living, Undead, Constructs, Corpse Counters and Scrap Counters. Stitched are none of these. Am I missing something?

If it is a legitimate target (by having 2 or less wounds) I would think it was sacrificed as the spell reads and as it does not fit into the criteria for a waif or a SPA it simply goes away.

  4. The alleged "ninja" is a request for clarification on edicts declared by Rules Marshals. This is relevant because if the word of a rules marshal is nota proper "Rule", then LCB still technically activates (pursuant to the current iteration of the rules) in the OP scenario. Unless, of course, the players have already agreed to adopt alternative rules.

In addition to what CunningStunt has said i'd like to add that while you are free to play the game however you like the rulings of the Rules Marshals are proper rules. You don't get to say otherwise any more than someone at a 40k tournament gets to say that FAQ are not official rulings. The protocol for rulings is established by Wyrd. They get to do that as a game company. You as a community member get to have input into the general discussion about rules. Its a bit odd that you have stated there is not a central location for rulings as there clearly is and you have found it here on the boards.

  5. Chompy/dreamer doesn't actually get the unused AP. They can only use up to3 general AP between them, they each in theory have 2 in addition to their melee/casting specific ones. Also you are correct that LCB has already activated and does not have reactivate and was buried as per the most recent bury rules he is done.

  6. give ashes and dust a whirl.

I suspect you will be impressed at how well it performs.

As you play neverborn and it has been mentioned, you should at least proxy the twins in a game. Think of them as a two model hire for 14 that, while they do not combine into one model that is a monster, are a combo that will eat opposing crews alive after they beat them down.

  7. Yeah, Shackled should be immune to Hex, or rather, Hollow Waifs should count as part of Leveticus, as master.

Although it would be quite difficult to play against someone that managed to Hex off shackled on all the waifs on the board you would still have the ability to come back at the end of the turn to a waif and attempt to get one the next turn. I would say it is unlikely to warrent an errata.

  8. I completely agree with Lucidicide's comments in this thread. There is really no reason to worry about the need for crew diversification aside from the basic two standard types of A&D/rusty or collodi/puppets. Those two crews accomplish any strategy you get.

That said changing your crew can be a lot of fun and all of the options in this thread are good ones for that. Also you may find you enjoy the play style of some of them more than the two standard crews for Levi.

Don't be afraid to hire SPAs however. With A&D/rusty combo they are crazy. I've commented in Lucidicide's loving Leveticus thread on my thoughts on how to use them. I've become more and more convinced they are very strong when hired as a contort point for A&D and are unlikely to get killed before they have proved useful in that way with placement and utilizing their you can't target me with ranged attacks ability.

I have 8 SPA and have gotten them all onto the board before... but really... once you get to 4 you want to make a DE most likely. 6 would be the number i'd say are likely to be used in regular games even if you hire 4.

I'll personally be looking long and hard at the new books models for some new and interesting mix ups for playing him. It isn't fun to run the same crew over and over and over again unless you have a really diverse play group.

  9. oh man... i'd be sorely tempted to take bad juju for that match up. Place, charge, landslide cause slow and 3 damage to a bunch of stuff, be there for the terrifying ->13, and possible flurry next turn with another landslide...

Let leveticus clean up the rest.
