I try to avoid as much as possible just listing model's abilities. I assume most people have looked at the cards and although its a useful ability, its useful in a very basic way I didn't really feel the need to expand on.  You CAN try to use the defensive line, but I find I typically just have range anyway? My ranged attacks arent ranged attacks so you dont benefit from cover.

I will add in the Run Away Home trick though.

Yeah, I've been trying to find more ways to make use of Widow with the Wp, but the WP attacks generally are so much less damaging I find its best just to think of it as a Collodi bonus and ocassionally you'll be pleasantly surprised that Vasilisa or Teddy can make use of it too.

I still don't think you should build towards a Horror list as an offesnive tactic (when you have a single lynchpin in Widow) but its something to consider in crew selection if you have models that can make use of it. I'll probably mention it again in my Illuminated section along with the Illuminated generating corpses for Teddies

Yeah, but its a pretty heavy SS investment. And I'd still need masks. And if I have those masks I'd generally want them for Collodi.

Honestly the Mask-dependance makes me want to chuck her in my Zoraida crew.

Well, Im hoping to get a game or two with Weaver in this week and I could probably do the other minion-level guys whenever, but I really want to do Weaver next because Im excited to try that stuff out!

Eh, I dont think I could afford to take her AND vasilisa, nor does it really benefit my playstyle as I tend to bring enemy models to me. Not trying to knock the +1wk too hard, but its not a big selling point to me.

Wp on Stitched isnt going to be as great as it once was, since Gamble your Life is on Df now. Could be fun in a Nephilim King list making Barbaros's challenges tough as nails. But that starts getting into beyond Collodi territory. I mean, you can use Weaver, Kade and Teddy quite effectively, but it doesnt really matter WHICH nephilim crew youre in at that point.

In theory its going to be a showdown of seeing if The -1Wp markers can beat out her higher cost and lower attack (compared to Young Neph or Illuminated I might use in the same role)

I go by with what I take, or if enough people are asking for a thing I'll try that out

I simply havent used Weaver Widow enough to have a valid non-theory opinion on her yet. Im starting from a footing of not liking her because she doesnt seem to fit the teddy/doll factory roll I used to use her for as well. (I mean you can, but I dont think Wicked dolls are as great and neither is Teddy specifically in a Collodi crew) but I still want to try her out on her own merits and judge her fairly. She looks to be far more suited for the Dreamer, but I can't deny Webs and string pulling would be useful too. Anyway, need more table time.

Yeah, not sure why you'd assume the art team is finished. Its probably the main reason its not coming out for another few months. Art takes time

Its the healing. You give your crew the Healing bonus from Brutal (my preference), Lucky or Carrion so when they take their 2 wounds to get fast they then have 3 chances to heal back up

Fated and Strum are BEST FRIENDS.

Strum without it is kinda meh if you didnt bring something else to heal everyone.

Yeah I wouldnt use LESS than what I said here, more is probably ok, so long as you're keeping the ratios correct so you dont wind up with OP and UP models

I really want the crisp lines though because I hate myself. Maybe on the smaller things to save time, but the Desolator is such a "HEY LOOKIT ME" model I want to do it properly

Just remembered to do paperwork for getting paid, so thats my morning done.

Also been slowly getting work done on my Desolator. So many ridges....
