So far we have around 6 attendees for Saturday's tournament, I'm hoping there'll be a few more last minute gamers.
-
I would go with number 2.
I wouldn't drop a 3 rounder so far, if at all. Maybe 95.
The other modification would be more rounds and fewer players also being worth more - I.e. 24 players in 6 rounds should also be 100 for 1st.

*There isn't more... sorry for the lies.
HELLO! Lots of Malifaux to be enjoying in Edinburgh over the next few months.
Firstly there is a weekly league starting at Games Hub Edinburgh supported by 6s2Hit. This is a Skirmish Games league but there will be a large malifaux proportion of those skirmish games. This league starts Thursday 24/04/13 and will continue for the next few months, Games (and demos) will be available for anyone interested in the World of Wyrd!
Secondly Compulsion (one of Scotland’s largest gaming conventions) held on the 26th and 27th of April will have demos for various games available at the 6s2Hit stall. I'll be on hand to provide demos for Malifaux, Puppet Wars and Showdown: Icons.
Thirdly! On the 3rd May there will be a 40ss fixed master tournament held in Games Hub Edinburgh with prize support from 6s2Hit. Entry is £10 including a drink and a sandwich for lunch. Round 1 will be aiming to start at 10:30 with three 1hr 45 rounds. Lunch should be at 12:30 with the day finishing at 5:30 all things going well. Awards will be for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Best painted crew and Wooden Spoon.
Hope to see you there!

Last minute reminder! Demos are tonight will be running from around 5pm until late.
-
I'll be there for sure! - Joe Taylor.
-
Sundays I can't do much with Joe, I don't want to have the day finish any later than needed so people aren't traveling home too late on Sunday night.
Aye, I don't want anything changed. It's why I stayed in Stirling last year - much easier for games.
-
Its a bigger problem on Sundays. I think the earliest train from Edinburgh arrives at 10:30. CGG is only a 10 minute walk at most from the station so you should be fine with that train.
-
Thanks to everyone who turned up! Going to be repeating this for a few more months
The third Wednesday in every month will hopefully be a Wyrd Wednsday - Demos available from around 6:15pm.
The next dates are:
16th April
21st May
Hope to see you there!
-
Bumping back to page 1.
I'll be bringing along a selection of crews for people who do not yet own anything. So ANYONE with interest should turn up.
Hope to see you there!
-
Erm.... I'll upload them soon.... I've at least made the progress of moving them from the Camera to the Computer. STAGE ONE COMPLETE!
-
I'm so looking forward to this now. Hoping to make it to 10 games over the weekend this time

Final positions below. Extremely close at the top, a win on table 1 or by mr Hamilton on table 2 would have changed the top 5 by a fair amount!
Best painted went to Connor Barker. Spell Slingin (most Ca Kills) went to Andy Maak using huggy (who could have guessed...), Brawlin Brute went to Paul Campbell with a mighty 15 Ml kills, a large portion of which was my own crew... Sharp Shootin went to Steven Clarke, who I saw with two gunslingers and von schill in round 1.
Photos from the event will be uploaded soon... likely tomorrow.
-
Thanks to everyone for attending! Positions, Photos etc will be up soon.
-
Great write-up as always.

Wyrd Wednesdays begin!
Malifaux demos available to all at the wonderful Common Ground Games in Stirling (http://www.commongroundgames.co.uk/) on the evening of the 19th.
If there is enough interest this will be only the first in a series of Wyrd Wednesdays, so come along and play!
If you are interested but can't make it on the 19th contact me via PM or Twitter (@Laundry_King) and we'll sort something out.
Hope to see you there!

Just realised the website for Worlds at War has gone down. I tried to put this together for the people who haven't yet experienced the joys of locating the store. The red-ish blobs are car parks, the cross is roughly where the store is.
I know it's terrible... but hopefully it'll help.

I'd play three games to figure out McCabe (dude's on a horse) as he's clearly the best.
-
Mr Barry Kelly will be taking the final slot.
Mr Schill will still be in attendance as a back up for the event of injury/illness/alien invasion.
-
Sounds good, I'm interested. You always run such great events. I would say get smaller prizes this year. The ones last year were awesome but they must have cost a fortune!
Agree. The prizes were super swank (yeah, I'm down with the lingo) but even the smallest of those trophies would have been fine for 1st place.
-
Fixed faction same as last year? Although I did play solely with Marcus that weekend....
If there are enough attendees then a best in faction prize (even something small) would be cool.
-
Updated entrants list. Have a replacement as maybe for number 16, if not Mr Schill will be entering battle!
-
Month one post completed: http://outcastfaux.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/tomb-month-1-opening-wounds.html
So far this is doing exactly what I wanted it to do - focusing me on one master/crew for painting and playing. THANK YOU LEMON AND SSSSSSK!
-
I'll hopefully have transportation by this date. Definitely want to come!
-
Awesome. Trains from Edinburgh run to Newcastle in about 1hr30, just need to look at the time from the station and everything will be golden!

I've decided to go back to Marcus for this event. Might not have enough time to play with the Wave 2 goodies before next saturday, but I'll at least print off the cards and give them a look over on the train.
