The weirdest job I ever had was at a hog farm, tattooing piglets, clipping their I-teeth, and helping out in the artificial insemination lab. Thankfully it was my supervisor's responsibility to collect the samples.

Yay for assembling! I got Ulix assembled last night, and I was just getting ready to play him... when a new player came in, so I did demos instead.

Those prosthetic arms are definitely hard to get without starting with them, depending on the script your fatemaster allows you to earn with your adventures. If you are going to be sabotaging guild supply lines, it would make sense that you would be doing some manual labor somewhere within those supply lines, therefore the drudge pursuit to start with might make sense for the character. (I know nothing about augmented as I haven't had time to read my into the steam book yet!)

Gen Con was great as always. I really enjoy working in the Wyrd Booth and getting to fangirl over all the product while telling others about it. I ended up picking up Dark Carnival, Ulix, Darkness Comes Rattling (OMG what a fantastic game!!) and my brother bought me Crossroads 7 for my birthday. I also won one in a tournament as part of a raffle. I didn't really do much of anything besides work for Wyrd a lot and do the tournament. Tearing the booth down was HARD WORK! I also bought a Tentacle Kitty. In the tournament I won one game with Yan Blow and lost two, so what you see in my siggy is my final Yan Lo standings for now, as I'm moving onto Ulix for a time! My TTB session went all right. There was a kid who was hogging all the attention, so I think some of the other people got bored for a while. But in the end, the fated managed to cause a riot in their prison camp, kill all of the guild guards, and one of them was riding around on the back of a peacekeeper that they managed to repair and animate themselves, so it wasn't all bad.

Wooo got another win with Grandpa!

My Ikiryo is sadly in a box, assembled but not painted with the rest of my plastic Kirai crew! Actually I do have a metal Ikiryo. I'm too embarassed to show anyone her, because her base size changed, so I just glued her 40mm on top of a 50mm, put some green stuff around the edges, covered it in green flock and made her on this stupid looking perfectly round hill.

Finished Yan Lo up to "good enough" standard in time for gen con. They still have work to be done, though.

Does anyone want my ticket to the enforcer brawl on Saturday? I purchased a ticket, then got scheduled to run a TTB during the tournament. Its free to anyone that wants it, yo.

Only thing that diffuses my rage is screaming. Or throwing things. Fortunately I don't usually reach the point of rage. hehe
