  1. Stunning. Love the bases. Also really like your highlighting techniques, especially on the red and blue keep up the good work
  2. ~Hi Love the hat, the use of a washer and green stuff is genius
  3. ~Hi Love the story. Would really like this to be made into a serial to hear/read how the story plays out
  4. ~Hi They have already released a black one and a red one. I think I'm going to opt for a red one when I order soon
  5. ~Hi Battlefoam is a great product and if you don't feel that the Malifaux bag is big enough then I would suggest that you look at the PACK 432. I have one of those with pluck and pick foam and it holds hundreds of Malifaux minis. The bags are expensive but will last for years
  6. ~Hi Love the model. Its painted really well, especially love the skintone. Skin is always something I have had issues with. I assume you used a white undercoat but would love to know how you painted the skin. The lighter coloured hat also works very well and I love the plain and simple base. It really makes the mini stand out. Well done and I can't wait to see more

    hello

~Hi Welcome to the Malifaux gang. Real friendly bunch round here.
  8. #Hi Played my first game using a Viktoria crew last night (only my second game, first was a demo using a guild crew and it was against the local Henchman). I lost unfortunately but had great fun. The starter set seemed to let me down as I only had 1ss in a 25ss game as Viktoria doesnt have any. Was playing a Lilith crew that just devastated me. Looking forward to learning more about the Viktorias. Does anyone have any recommendations as to how I should change the list to make it more effective Cheers
  9. ~Hi Loved the show. Was a bit sceptical about the fan fiction when you mentioned it but I must admit I really enjoyed it. Would be nice if the circus story became a serial as I'd love to see where that story went. One slight critisism was with the interruptions. It sometime broke my concentration when you were discussing rules or important info and there was music interrupting in the background. Could just be me and my short attention span though Cheers though for a marvellous show. My biggest problem will be having to wait a whole month for the next one. Keep up the good work.....................

    Greetings!

Impressive. The more I see and hear about Wyrd Miniatures the more I am astounded by your attention to detail. Congratulations Eric and keep up the good work
  11. ~Hi I'm a bit of an addict when it comes to miniature storage. I have used several of the GW cases and found that miniatures get damaged very easily. I then moved to a bag from a company called Figures in Comfort (http://www.figuresincomfort.co.uk) but wasn't overly impressed with the foam. I then tried a Feldherr case but that didn't do it for me either. I finally decided to bite the bullet and go for a Battlefoam Pack 432 and loved it so much that I bought a 216 as well. I'm now just waiting for the UK distributor, Wayland Games to get the Malifaux BAttlefoam bag in stock and then I think I will order one of those. Its true that you will pay more for the Battlefoam bag but trust me that you won't look back and that your miniatures will be kept safe and secure (even when travelling abroad) Hope this helps
  12. Downloading right now. Looking forward to listening to this, hopefully it will help make a dull day at work go a bit faster tomorrow
  13. ~Hi folks I'm hoping to use this thread to post my blog of Malifaux painting. I'm new to Malifaux but have been playing WHFB and 40K for years. I've never played with a fully painted army and I'm hoping that the small model count of Malifaux will help me get a fully painted army on the table. Anyway I've played a couple of games with my local Henchman and have spent this evening building my Viktoria starter box so I intend to take that to the FLGS tomorrow night for my first game with my own crew (I'll let you guys know how I get on) Sorry there aren't any pics yet but Im sure we would all be bored with bare metal model pics. My plan for the weekend is to finish cleaning the models up and then to spray them white and do a badab black ink wash ready for painting to begin next week (although my wife seems to have housework planned for me this weekend.) Check back soon as I'm sure I'll have pics to show............
  14. My that is organised. I just seem to have boxes and boxes of metal and plastic with no organisation whatsoever. Maybe as Ive started Malifaux I should start organising it
  15. Thanks for the info Xango
  16. Ooh dear, looks like I've opened a can of worms
  17. ~Hi Sean Glad to hear you're going to be covering Malifaux. That's one thing we do need is more podcast coverage, I like nothing better than listening to a podcast whilst painting. I'd love to here some coverage on the different crews and how best to use them. some time spent on painting tips would be good too but I guess that's difficult to cover in an audio format Good luck and I look forward to listening
  18. Absolutely awesome painting. If I painted 1 model like that I'd be so happy. Love the freehand writing, Now if only my hands didn't shake so much..........................
  19. Hi Zodgrim Welcome to the Malifaux gang here on the forums. I'm a new player too and everyone here is uber friendly so if you need to know anything don't be afraid to ask.
  20. ~Hi Just though I'd let you guys know that i am truly addicted to Malifaux. Stopped by my FLGS to pick up some Tallarn Flesh and a new paint brush and walked out with a Viktoria crew. I haven't even got my first crew (lady Justice) built yet. Maybe we should start a Malifaux Anonymous for addicts like me Now where did I put that superglue......................
  21. Thanks for the guide Munkey. I'll give that a bash on my lady Justice crew when i finally get started
  22. Second vote for CSI here (Las Vegas and NY, can't stand Miami) NCIS is good too along with Law and Order Special Victims Unit. Must be all that death that puts me in the mood for painting Malifaux. Podcasts are good too but there's not much Malifaux based stuff around at the moment
  23. Thanks for the info MissE
  24. Hi MissE I'm new to Malifaux and just picked up Lady J's crew too. Seems like a good all round crew to start with. I'm in Scotland but would like to hear if you know of any stores in NYC that carry Malifaux as I'm going over there in the summer
  25. ~Hi Munkey Could you give me a guide as to how you paint flesh. It is truly amazing Cheers
