How about a mounted Ronin?

Don't  talk to me about Gremlins they already have Rooster Rider and Warpigs Levi used to a Rider in his Avatar form but now we have a donkey

Could also look at Ronin expensive but can hold there own kill other scheme runners then when they have finished kill themselves to bring the cost down to 4ss

I had 7 Great games playing against the mighty Joel and Graham where both very good I still feel really bad for the games against Will and Jakab I'm not sure they was fun for my opponent's but apart from that I had no issues everything was run really well food was good I managed to finish all my games so thanks again guys

Dont forget Witchling stalkers are height 2 along the the Soul porter TBH I wouldn't worry about it lets not forget we are playing a miniture game not everything in the rules matches up with the models background and design

I don't think it would come up very often for me most of the people know not to bunch up models when the Viks come out to play but most of the time I only take Survivalist, sisters in fury  and oath keeper I think I could drop OK but I would have to test it first

has anyone taken the Hodgepodge Effigy and used Loyalty to the Coin with the Viks ideally with Ash taking the Tally Sheet upgrade I've never done it before but it seems like a good way to get a few extra SS but very situational and maybe a one trick pony

Anyone else got thoughts on this or even tried it I have taken Hodgepodge before but never used the 0 action

Has anyone taken Nix with Daw as I think he could make him very hard to kill when he has the Hollow upgrade and it also gives you the option of more cheap scheme runners?

i thought it might be the case but i wasnt sure if she would unbury could be very card intensive (I really need to read Crossroads)

could you use Hannah to tie up ikiro with backup from a Libarian and just try to bury her every turn or would she still pop up?

I suppose I need to try fit the convict gunslinger more into my lists. I've just never seen him do much or at all.

I don't think I would take the gunslinger outside a friendly list I took 2 to run along side Sue and apart from being a tarpit they didn't do much

Problem is that you need to keep Hannah close to Blood to have even a possibility to cast SiF. And if we are talking about sling-shot tactics then you have 3 models (Ash, Blood and Hannah) which has to get stuck together to work it out. Viks must be really flexible on their positioning to work well and dragging Hannah behind them is not the best idea.

 

And after you sling Blood out then you have to use Blood to cast it again which you you won't have a time to do, because either you spend those APs on charging another target or run the hell out of the danger. Not to mention losing Blood with Mark of Shez'uul and SiF is really painful for you, more painful than losing Blood with Mark of Shez'uul only.

 

I've tested this already and don't think it beats Blood (Mark+Oathkeeper) + Ash (SiF+sling) + Child combo.

I agree and have played both styles my Viks tend to work independently with Blood with mark + oath keeper working with Hannah and Ash with survivalist + oath keeper + SiF working with the Librarian with the pesky child hanging out in the background
