Thanks for the comments, the other crew that interested her are the Viktorias. I think we will probably get the Showgirls, your more likely to enjoy playing and learning with a group of models that keep you interested i think. Also as we will not be playing advanced players anytime soon, the more complicated moves will be a bit less of an issue i guess. I'm sure we'll be around asking advice from the more knowledgable players as at when thinks pop up during games.

Hi all, I have only recently got in to Malifaux and will be starting a Dreamer crew. My wife has been looking through the books and really likes the look of Colette and the showgirls. Do you think, seems as both of us will be learning the rules together, that colette is an ok choice for a beginner? Thanks Ed

I'm sure I will too the standard of the miniatures looks fantastic. The wife wants the showgirls so I will get those when i get the daydreams.

would this list be better? This is using the models that will be available (dreamer box set, daydreams and alps) Dreamer/LCB 3x Daydreams 3x Alps 2x Sitiched together

The 'bad dreams' box set should arrive at the end of next week so i've been considering what list to run and therefore thinking if I need to buy any extra models. I'm thinking of running the following, any comments? 1 Dreamer/LCB 2 Day Dreams 2 Alps 1 Coppelius 1 Stitched Together I may get a teddy too so I can swap him in and out with Coppelius but he will have to wait a month or two.

Clousseau, I am a member of the Bedford Gladiators, I know Dave and Mark have a few Squad's between them and that Ove wants to play more often, If i struggle to find opponents, due to their other commitments I may mix between the two groups though.

Sorry if this seems a stupid question but I am new to Malifaux and have order the bad dreams boxed set. Next week I should be ordering the rising powers book and some daydreams but I just noticed the following in the crew hiring section of the rulebook. "Totems are manifestations of a Master's magical talents. Minions with the Totem characteristic must be connected to a Master when hired by a Crew. Each Master can only connect 1 Faction or Mercenary Totem. When a Master is killed or sacrificed, its Totem must be immediately sacrificed." Does this mean the dream will only be able to hire 1 daydream or just that he can only hire 1 'type' of totem (ie daydreams). Thanks Ed
