Looking at these models makes them seem like they all have high damage potential and are tanky, which sounds perfect for round two. Honestly this crew looks like a nightmare. Melissa kore seems scary as hell 

I think more reliable than aversion on paper unless their hand is empty. I find that it's harder for pandora to empty their hand if it's a elite crew, which is really annoying too. I don't know anything about hoffman. I do know that pandora can murder a model with a good damage track though. A tanky crew with decent wp and healing seems like her worst nightmare. Does that describe hoffman?

Also doesn't a geryon just hard counter joss , and cyclops can force staggered on him with no resist

Joss has a walk of 5, if you do your tactical action on pandy/emissary he's only got a threat range of 3 inches and you can move him all over the place. Then if you keep a aversion by your models he has to flip a 8 I believe or be pushed out again, plus a no resist 3 inch push aoe from the aversion+ terrorize. If you throw up the riders hazardous terrain he will take a lot of pings, especially if you force stone for the stunned trigger and push him 

This might sound like blasphemy, but what if for round too you included nekima with pandora to help with the strategy and maybe even scheming?

It'll be interesting to look back at this in a few months when I do another one of these and see how my opinion evolves

I very much associate malifaux with the dreamer. I don't think his teenager appearance is as enduring as the child though you know? Every person with kids can get attached the idea of a little kid running around exploring their imagination. To me the teenager just feels ....lesser. the keyword is so aesthetic, just so good looking. New chompy is kind of ugly. I strongly prefer nightmare lcb

Lucius feels like my second favorite neverborn master and his models are incredible. I feel like lucius could use a premium alt. Also agent 46 yes, he needs something. Alan reid sculpt.. I like quite a bit

Yes ,titannia needs more alt sculpts and I think maybe just more models need premium alts

I do feel like pandora is the funnest neverborn master playstyle for me and yes she by far has the best sculpts . Her avatar is in front of me every day   

Savage keyword looks incredible , but I don't like how their crew reads on paper. "Sorry, not sorry"

Nekima....what must I give for a ten inch tall floating masterpiece precariously balanced on a 50mm base 

Zoridas keyword aesthetics are booty. I don't care for that model range at all. Silurids and juju, are just not pretty. 

Collodis keyword is so aesthetically pleasing. Every model is amazing

Zoraida AND marcus makes euripides look like booty. I only wish I felt like playing her

This doesn't reflect on anyone but myself and how I view things as they stand, for me . i'm happy to talk about my thoughts though. that's mostly the purpose of this post. to start dialog. It's 11pm est, and I'm pretty bored. family is asleep, might as well talk about something I'm passionate about.

Oh this is probably coming across as a objective rating on how I think these really are rated for everyone. Nooooo. Please don't think I'm saying that. This is just my own personal enjoyment factor. Just my own little thought blurb as I progress with the faction

Overall - Most  Of the keywords are just hot garbage except I think the dreamer/ zoraida for certain, and I think nekima/marcus in my personal opinion. All in all I just do not get the same level of enjoyment out of lucius and pandora as I did in second edition. 

marcus - 7/10? Dope, seen other people play him. I like him in theory. 

Lucius - 3/10 situationally amazing, mostly for stuff involving scheme markers not in the opponents deployment zone, pretty mediocre for everything else. not sure if just ook investigators are just  better.  His thematic crew is so squishy. I don't think he excels at a single strategy, only some schemes. 

Titania - 6/10? I like her in theory. I think she would be good at stuff like recover evidence or something. Not too sure where she really shines above any other option.

Nekima -  7/10 just reliability(comparatively) in  a nut shell. You have you're numbers in front of you , you just have to leverage them in a smart way, to make stuff happen. Good at several strats, and schemes. 

The dreamer - ? - no clue, I hear he is broken.

Euripidies 0/10? - no clue, Looks like garbage to me on paper. I probably wouldn't play this crew even if you paid me.

Zoraida 10/10? seems like the overall best master to me in theory. good at most of the strats and schemes. 

Pandora 5/10 Against crews with lowish wp and higher model count, this crew is STUPID fun to play. Open the box and fears given form is like christmas every turn. But the fun dies shortly after that. seems okay at a few schemes, maybe 1-2 strats.  so many things heal in this edition and killing things by pinging them to death feels like a pipedream. Realisticly the crew plays like just tying things up and then scoring because pandora and candy are being annoying . Crew is just hard countered by several crews

You're quite right about that first point. 

I've loved wyrd since I saw eric and nathans first models painted up on coolminiornot. I used to hit them up on facebook back in the day and kiss their asses Because I'm such a fan boy. Anyone who thinks I'm not passionate about malifaux is just not in touch with who I am as a person. I've tried to be a part of the Public betas for m2e and M3e and I'm just too socially handicapped to make it work. I always end up just getting "passionate" about the models I play.  I know i'll probably never be allowed to have my opinion count for for any rules development because of this. Doesn't mean I don't wish it did though lol

true, but if everything everyone said was agreeable or not provoking then we would all just be sitting around agreeing with each other. I've never been interested in that type of discourse. I love strong responses to get conversations flowing that make people actually feel something, but outbursts of non-rational emotional energy are not as interesting.

I was thinking Bi-annual, maybe? and that's for like small stuff and then big stuff(IF needed) so like Archie changes once a year, and like +1 to TN type stuff the other patch. Yeah it really only effects people who would  care, like people who play every month in those online tournaments

Also I think you are conflating laissez-faire with not caring. It helps sometimes to facilitate conversation to understand the meaning of words the other person is using. So that word just means a hands off management approach where they aren't micromanaging things all the time from month to month like apex legends.

you sound very offended.  I'm not the type of person to just have some sort of fake, praise based relationship with the people that make one of the many games I play. I need to satisfy my character customization urges with a  grow league. I'm talking equipment, injuries, the whole thing.

A lot of these changes that models need aren't rocket science and it wouldn't be so catastrophic to be incorrect if they weren't so laissez-faire with their game

A year is a long time in the gaming world. After a year you need to put out MEANINGFUL changes that really shake up the meta. that's like 12 patches in apex legends or like i have no idea, maybe 3 season passes, something like that. The app is the future, if people want to sit at home and play with the original rules, that's a fantastic thing and I will be doing that with second edition for grow leagues because it has a dedicated book for that. However, with digital distribution like they have got , especially during these strange times they need to get with the program, and get the ball rolling. Maybe It's just because I'm not in the "IN" crowd, but I feel like they are not listening or at least I don't see any indication on the forums of this.

wyrd needs to take the league of legends, street fighter, apex legends approach and update the rules instead of being like PUBG/H1Z1 or some similar game that the creators got too complacent and got replaced. There's way too many miniature games out there to be complacement

After training in 10x earths normal gravity(plaag/Axelst/zithas/personalglitch) I think i'm ready for week 2 boys ^^
