  2. And as anside I like the NM as a totem for Seamus even if you don't take Molly. [1]The face of Death looks like a handy debuff/protective bubble for it to cast. And at Ca4 with crows it makes it just that little easier. And probably the best is [0]Create Undeath and Undead Psychosis Yep you can abuse that one.
  3. It looks nice to pop out for a surprise but the totem does has Df 3 and Wd 4. I'm sure you'll need to go hard early or fear losing it to mostly any attack across the board. Also if they see Von Schill in tow and know what he can do to Undead they'll be gunning for it. Also Von Schill might be a little_too_fast for the little guy to catch up. [1]Nimble + [0]Augmented Jump can really see the big guy get up and around the table quickly. Remember [0]Create Undeath has a range of 2". In my mind I see the Necrotic Machine as a counter trickster within your mainlines rather than a front line player pulling moves out. It just doesn't have the survivability to hang out there IMHO. Then again if you can pop Teddy in a turn by doing all this, then all power to you!
  4. I don't have my books with me but for a first time Levi player I'd be careful with using.Jack Daw. IIRC Jack makes you drop a card so he doesn't take damage. And then mix that in with Levi's unique card draw mechanic I think you could end up losing Jack cheaply or at least causing you undue headaches. That said if you feel confident then go for it. :-)
  5. Sounds like a fun game. And on the WM angel I reckon Malifaux plays a lot like Mk1 with all the triggers and out of turn activations. The biggest thing to remember though is no caster kill. ;-)

  7. Certainly an interesting thought for Nico and if things change during the game, make Von Schill undead and gain +2Cb and Df.

  9. You know what, I think the next book is going to be good for them to. Maybe a key model here or there to address some weakness. Otherwise #1? Could be a glaring omission or just because they have cool armour it wasn't thought about? And with no alpha strike I guess your holding your trigger with pleb Freikkorps til your killer move comes. That said perhaps Von Schill's Willing to Die is their Companion? #2? I guess try and make the most out of [1]Magical Buffer and hope for the best? That said they do look like the crew that holds on, and on and on vs. moving to where you want them to be. Perhaps the Trapper and placing him well helps them draw out a control point game? #3 Never played them. Although I do see where you're coming from in regards to damage output. Or underperform with movement? What games have you played? What's been the key point that's let you down? #4 You know I reckon Taelor and Misaki are good due to their magical weapons, high Cb and damage output and the latter with her speed. All good things for a crew that looks like it's best at hanging around vs. putting out big damage.
  10. Oh and of course making Seamus Undead so he'll be safer via [1]Undead Psychosis. Hmm you could almost wade him in if you know you can't be melee'd. Then open his bag of tricks, set to making things insignificant and wander in some Crooked Men placing Shafted markers about 6" ahead of Seamus. Why a fair sized space of denial and good for scenario play.
  11. And although situational but it would be fun to [0]Create Undeath on one of Lady J's crew. Yep it could give her pause before she [all]Restores Natural Order. Oh although not another master but Molly would like stealing the Judge's [1]Judged spell with a Necrotic Machine in tow. Hmm Dg 2/4/8 is pretty good on something that's just become Undead!
  12. [0]Create Undeath could be fun for Seamus's [1]Undead Psychosis. Place it on one of their support or front line models and see them have to keep away from the zombie guy. Also [0]Create Undeath dosen't require a Duel to pull off. Just get the little guy up there and then pop. That said I'll grant it won't be around too long after that. Nevertheles if that one turn wins you the game vs. an objective. Well it's worth it. Also new living Tanks for Nico can benefit from [0]Bolster Undead. Desperate Mercs and [1]Uncontrolled Fire?
  13. Balancing the wounds of his crew is going to be a tough one if you can make them into Spirits so easily. Cool ability though but could be a little OTT? And as stated being able to charge through line to their Master after turning their front line into Spirits is strong play. Interesting and reminds me of WM.
  14. My goodness, a caster, tank and melee dude all in one! Friendly models or all? If all then charging through their models is going to fun.
