  1. Did you prime your board first or did you just paint on it? Also what do you use to seal and protect your gaming table?
  2. Thanks for the clarification. That is how I played it, I moved the woods not the models and adjusted their position after the woods stopped moving.
  3. My question is about the uproot spell. If models are in a forest when the Waldegeist succecessfully casts uproot do the models in the forest get displaced to compensate for the forest moving or do they keep their current postion and "ride the wave?"
  4. Using the pack ability to activate any number of friendly Silurids, do I have to cast Leap on each model or does the Pack ability allow me the bonus of just casting it as a group spell?
  5. Quick question, what do the colored stat headings and values represent, do they play an important role in the game? Not all the figures have them and the colored values can cover one or several of the statistics that a character has in his profile. I did a search of the forums and had no luck finding an answer...Thanks in advance for the help received.
  6. Soulstone tax?? Do you mean the cost for paying for that model to be a part of her crew, correct?
  7. O.K. here is where the confusion starts, Enthrall states that Zoraida can hire any living model in her crew that has a wp of 4 or less. So how can I swap Bad JuJu who is a construct with a wp of 5 for a Mature Nephilim that is a living creature with a wp of 5, aren't I breaking a major rule here?
  8. I started off with the Zoraida box army to get the game mechanics down. But the other master of interest is Kirai and her crew.
  9. I read Rathnard's very informative "how to play Zoraida" and it helped me out a great deal (thanks Rathnard). I played very aggressive got my silurid slaves across the board by turn 2 by using the leap ability to tie-up the range attacks, summoned Bad JuJu on turn 3 to terrorize ophelia and 2 other gremlins then cast landslide to deal 3 damage to each gremlin. I then moved my sorrows in for added support of the silurids, kept Zoraida in the backfield summoned a voodoo doll to pick off any stragglers the enemy had. Overall I was pleased with the crew's performance. I am still going to swap Bad JuJu out for a Mature Nephllim, and try some Bayou Gremlins just for a change of pace.
  10. Hi I am a new Neverborn player, I started with the Zoraida box set to get a feel for the game and it's mechanics. I have played several games and I have gotten waxed...I am trying to flesh out a crew that will not get shot to hell before I can get into melee. This is what I have so far: Zoraida Silurid slaves x3 Bad JuJu Mire Golem Sorrows x3 This gives me 34pts I am thinking of swapping the silurids for some bayou gremlins (for the range attack threat) and the mire golem for a mature nephllim. Is this a good change or am I going from bad to worse?
  11. Just Saying Hi I resisted the Malifaux bug until I saw the Hooded Rider and Lord Chompy Bits. I am lovin' every aspect of the game play and its mechanics. I look forward to meeting more friendly and cool like minded players...
