I've ran the cards for my So'mer crew (and my local playgroup have all done the same thing for the most part of their crews) through a lamination process to make them more durable and easy to record on with a dry-erase marker. Would that be an acceptable condition to mail them in for the card-swap once it become available?

Anyone have any recommendations for a good 30-35SS builds for So'mer that aren't gunlines? Is a hybrid list of pigs/gremlins viable? I like the flavor of the pigs too much not to use them, but it seems everyone either runs Gunline/So'mer or Gunline/Ophelia

I'd love to see a step-by-step tutorial including specific products used in the construction of one of your buildings. They are, quite simply, mind-blowing. Really well done, I'm greatly enjoying the opportunity just to watch this thing take shape

Just an FYI I did hear back from Andy regarding the giant mosquito models from Heresy Miniatures. He took them out of circulation because of a mold problem which causes a lot of additional flashing to occur on the models. I asked him if there would need to be any sculpting skills required to fix the problem if I ordered some and was told that wouldn't be necessary (outside of normal gap-filling as with any model). So, if you don't mind taking the time to remove a lot of extra flash bitz from the models you can get blisters of 3 mosquitoes from Heresy for 6.00 GBP per blister. P.S. I haven't yet received the two blisters I ordered, but once I do I'll update this thread with the actual condition of the models. Not sure exactly how bad the additional flash bits will be until I see them.

Hello all, Just recently entered the game and adopted Somer as my initial Master. I have to say that I'm loathe to buy 4x Giant Mosquito models I'll need because they are rather overpriced for what you get, the sculpt is pretty lousy, and they don't even come with some kind of proper flying stand to prop them up. I was wondering if anyone knows of any other miniature model ranges that offer some kind of giant flying insect that would be a good stand-in for this model? Thanks!

Another interesting tactic I was musing on the Pigapult involved Ophelia and Pere. Activate Ophelia first and use her action (name escapes me) to let another Gremlin activate after her on the Pigapult and also trigger Pere's Companion (Kin) ability. Once Ophelia finishes her activation let the Pigapult launch Pere. If he dies you still get his on-death explosion for Dg:4. If he survives he'll get to immediately activate in the middle of a massed enemy to great effect. Not sure if that's exactly how that works though as I'm quite new, so I might have missed something in the process there that is illegal. Additionally, this could work in conjunction with some Stuffed Piglets if you're running Somer as your Master and just bring Ophelia along for her good looks

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I had played just my 3rd game last night and ran up against Perdita. There seemed there was nothing in my arsenal to deal with that massive Df:8 other than to try for Stuffed Piglet/Mosquito pulse damage. I was getting close to giving up my Gremlins as a bad job before I ever really got into them! I will definitely have to try this out!!! Thanks again!
