Interesting I never considered the judge instead of executioner. Is the judge better than Santiago?

Why Santiago over Executioner? With range heavy Ortegas would they not benefit from some heavy melee support? Is Santiago really that much of a benefit over Fatty McFatfat? Would there be a better alternative list? Thanks, Monte

I see you have Santiago in instead of Francisco. What are the strengths and such for the Perdita group. I guess I am asking vs which masters and/or missions is a good beginner setup for Perdita. I plan on picking up some additional models to round out later but just base on what I have now. I think I have a good idea for Sonnia however the speed of Perdita and the relative agreement of the forums of her being a good master for someone to learn the basics on have peaked my interest in that direction. Do these questions make sense? Any help is greatly appreciated. Also why isnt there tactica for each master of guild like there are for neverborn and such?

What would you recommend as a beginners list for a 25 and 30ss game with either Criid or Perdita with the minis I have listed above?

I'm new to Malifaux the game but got the minis to paint a while back. I am trying to expand and build a crew for some league games with Sonnia or Perdita as my master. Which would you recommend for a newbie? What sets each apart? I have a small group of guild minis to use. So Exey over Francisco. Does that put Sonnia fairly melee heavy with Nino for range support? I've even considered using Perdita a bit in the tourney/league. I havent used her yet so it should be a bit different. For a Perdita list I was thinking. Given a tournament setting with the base minis I currently have how do I fair against each faction and master? In our current facility there is at least one of each master though I believe I am the only Sonnia player. It is heavy in the Resurrectionists. Most games are played on the 25-35ss setup.

Interesting. I was just playing it out on paper. What are the advantages of taking a Convict gunslinger over Francisco? Is the Convict really worth that extra SS over Francisco? There arent really that many alternate 5-6 point models to run.

I do appreciate your input and very much like your idea. I myself am not married to having Samael in my crew. He seems to be a one hit wonder for me. I usually get him in to kill one heavy model before my opponent decides to unleash upon the poor fella. My biggest issue has been range and Nino fits the bill very well. With running your idea in a 25ss game would you suggest two witchlings and Sonnia with only 7ss or cut to only one witchling and run a totem of the sorts either student or purifying flame? So far I've played against Lady J's crew, Rasputina, and Ortegas.

I was hoping to utilize the great energy and theory-faux of the community regarding Guild crew. I've found Sonia to be my preferred Master of the three in Guild at the moment.
