  1. I am a little fuzzy here, so ill ask just to be clear...

if a model has already activated and later gets one of these conditions, does it last through the end of the turn and affect them during the next turns activation?

ie: my death marshal moves and shoots... my opponent has a rotten belle undress(? eww?) to cause slow... does this make my death marshal slow during his next activation, or do nothing because he has already activated?

I am inclined to think the former, but could use clarification to be sure, so i am teaching it correctly.

  2. self harm does not actually cause seamus to use his pistol...it does however borrow the flintlocks damage profile.... so it does not count as seamus using it for the turn, and it does allow pandora to "shoot" seamus with it three times...its as nasty as it sounds btw...

I had asked this question in another post, as it came up in a game while i was using pandora and my girlfriend was using seamus....she was none to pleased with the aftermath

  4. As the title implies, I was wondering if anyone had any sage wisdom on running demo games for new players... good starting SS levels, important rules to make sure to cover, general flow of ways to introduce people to Malifaux and keep it fun and interesting.

I do not consider myself a great teacher sadly, a bit to scatter brained im afraid, but id do well if someone had a possible "class plan" that has worked for them that i could "teach" off of.

Hopefully someone can throw some advice my way, as I am really out of my element on this.

As always, thanks in advance for any and all advice, and thoughts.

  5. given what you listed as the crew you took, I cant help but say do NOT underestimate the terror tot.... they are fantastic little models that can win you games.... not in sheer killing power but by being underestimated.... they are quick, deceptively so at first glance to their card, and are great at a rather large variety of schemes....

As to Lilith's upgrades, its always rough...all of her upgrades are really nice! Living Blade is great, and while i use it often, Beckon Malifaux lets you do some amazing things...

Ultimately its gonna fall to personal playstyle, and indeed I encourage everyone to play around with things till you find something comfortable, even if you lose a few games( in my case most games =P)

All of that said..I am by no means an expert at this game or Lilith, and I'm sure other here could be much more detailed about the in and outs of Lilith and her crew.

  6. yea wasnt real sure.... i guess candy will just be in a constant state of repair.... her feet are so very tiny there isnt much of a contact point to attach her to said base.... shes already popped off it 3 times, from just being handled, not even gamed with...cant pin her feet and not sure what to do with her at this point...

  7. im just curious what everyones thoughts on how these models are on their own, together, and in the context of being in a crew, specifically a Pandora or a Lilith crew...

thoughts, discussion, telling me im a noob and, like Jon Snow, I know nothing....
