Great stuff, this app is very useful!
One request/wish for future would be to incorporate a tournament organizer either within this app or as a standalone but integrated app. Tournament app could preset game settings and attendees could each connect to the tournament through their m3e app to add crews, etc. If players don't wish to use the app during their games they would need to be able to have their scores input manually after the game. Would also appreciate an allowance made for tournaments with other scoring categories to be counted such as sportsmanship and paint scoring.

If you use this link, you can find cards by Faction. We worked with our friends at DTRPG/WGV to make sure that they are searchable by Keyword, too.
Got it, thanks! It wasn't working on the mobile version of the site, though switching to desktop version worked on my phone no problem.

Excellent news!
I'm not sure how much influence you have on Wargame Vault, but it would be nice if they organized the cards by faction and made it possible to search by keyword. Would make getting specific groups much easier!

Can it be added to a placed order?
Don't believe so.

I could not find this when I searched.
If a model that is Noted for Vendetta and has not yet attacked is Obeyed to make an attack does that count as it's "First Attack"?
Correct, that would be considered it's first attack.
Do note that even if it's obey'd to attack another model, Vendetta would still be possible to complete if that model is the one that kills the target enemy by the end of the game.

Cool!
Oh, I just read your topic heading "Invested Animator" and Prodigy's Firestarter popped into my head. That's weird.

These guys are correct. You can gain 2VP from Assassinate if Levi ends the game Buried, because the rules for buried say if you end the game buried you count as killed for encounter victory purposes.

If the watcher was intended to use only for shooting, it would have the or Sh restriction or something. Currently policy from Wyrd is not to answer these threads; if they feel it needs a clarification or errata it'll end up in the FAQ/Errata. Personally, it doesn't seem confusing or broken to me. It takes a fair bit to set up, and the model trying to hide just has to make sure he's got enough distance from the wall that a model using the Watcher's LoS can't get range to attack through the wall and the LoS is irrelevant.

They can't be placed in contact with other markers or models, but its okay to place in contact with themselves.
And yes they do benefit from 4" range when touching their markers.
-
That is correct, it is fine for other actions to drop Scheme markers even if you're engaged, and they can even drop scheme markers within 4" of other friendly scheme markers unlike with Interact actions.
When Lucius uses What Lackeys Are For, he can place the scheme marker even when engaged and even if its within 4" of another friendly marker, as it does not specify that its an Interact action.
Note that if Lucius uses the Subterfuge trigger, the target is taking an Interact action so that must follow all the normal rules for Interact Action (model taking the action can't be engaged, can't drop the marker within 4" of another friendly marker). He does also have Guild Intelligence to allow minions to take Interacts while engaged, though dropping schemes is still limited to being 4" away from other friendly scheme markers.
-
The minion would take 2dg after the Walk action from Twist and Turn because the Minion is taking a Tactical action (even though Daw is controlling the action).
The minion would not take 2dg from Feel Their Torment because he is taking an opposed duel (not a simple duel) when resisting the spell, and if Daw succeeds then Daw copies and takes an action from the minion, the minion is not taking any actions so it doesn't take damage. If Daw copied an action that could force the minion to take a Simple Duel and it failed (Daw is not controlling the simple duel in this case, so the minion's player could cheat normally), it could suffer damage from a failed Simple Duel.

I think I'd rather see everything listed out on the page (like the webstore does) without the need to click the little arrow buttons.
I'd just rather scroll one big page of products than deal with peeking at the tiny sliding window of four products at a time.
Agreed! I'd definitely prefer a bullet-list of releases grouped by expected dates. The site is really slow on my phone for some reason, and the arrow buttons were very slow to respond. Thumbnails are nice, but links to pictures are fine too, so the page can load quicker.

As has been mentioned, models can block LoS but can never give other models cover from shooting attacks.
Melee attacks never suffer from cover penalties.
-
Only exception would be Firing Squad Injustice when it forces the model to suffer 1 extra damage whenever it takes damage from an attack action; if killed the model would count as killed by the attacking model in this case.

They usually release something new every month, often a crew box or two and a few smaller boxed items (minion boxes, etc). They periodically post upcoming release schedules in the Announcements forum (http://themostexcellentandawesomeforumever-wyrd.com/forum/8-wyrd-announcements/) but the most recent one has been removed for some reason. I usually check the preorder section of The War Store (http://www.thewarstore.com/wyrdpreorders.html) to get an idea of what's coming up when, its not perfect as schedules change for various reasons but its usually pretty close.

I'm not expecting an errata, it's certainly not worth reprinting cards over. I wonder if changing the FAQ to simply apply to Burning and poison would be enough rather than all conditions? Conditions that themselves deal damage is pretty rare, I haven't found any other than those already mentioned, though I haven't gone through every model closely.
-
That's all I'm getting at, thanks SpiralngCadavr. The faq is clear, I'm suggesting perhaps the answer was a bit too broad and had unintended and unnecessary consequences, and perhaps Wyrd could consider modifying it in future.

-
Because they aren't indirect. They put the condition on themselves and deal damage under certain circumstances. There's really no difference to what Sonnia's condition does and a fire gamin exploding, and yamaziko/ashigaru are dealing damage with their physical weapons, it's just been made a condition to simplify/clarify timing. If this faq didn't exist no one would question which model was causing the damage in these cases. The only reason it is in the faq is because of indirect, stacking, damage dealing conditions like burning and poison, and only because their rules aren't clear who should get credit once they start stacking.

-
Current FAQ has a blanket statement that if a model is killed by a Condition, no model or Crew counts as having made the kill.
As written this applies to conditions such as Sonnia's "Flaming Demise" and Yamaziko's/Ashigaru's "Brace" conditions; they would not receive credit for the kill. Wondering if this is intended or an unintended side effect of resolving the scoring issues of Burning and Poison.
-
I'm not sure its that big of a deal really; sure you can relent but then you're guaranteed taking damage, and a double negative flip is a better chance of getting the Red Joker. Personally I'd be more inclined to risk the flip and have the opportunity to cheat the defense as I'd be more likely to be able to put the damage flip at a single negative, or better yet dodge the hit altogether.

in Wyrd Apps

I mean there's other apps out there for tournament organizing, including some free stuff, but having one that's as easy to use as the m3e app, can push out game setups to the players for use in their apps, track VP differentials etc, and even record the masters/crews players use for people to look back at after the event would be a huge. If it doesn't integrate with the m3e app to allow automatic reporting of all that extra possible data while games are played then any of the other solutions already out there would suffice.
If you can do all that I'd pay a small amount (I don't run tournaments to run a profit obviously), but I feel it's something Wyrd could offer it's henchman at some point.
