Just thought I would pop in and introduce myself.
I have been an avid miniatures wargamer since 1994. Yes I started with 40k, and some WHFB on the side. I still play it but also moved on to some Warmachine when I ran into some people who were also into it. Unfortunatly, some of the group is leaving the area, so I was in a bit of a quandry as to what to do next.
At this time, one of the guys at the FLGS mentioned Malifaux. I had seen some of it, but I was not interested (mostly because the lil I had seen gave me the wrong impression about it). After a quick look through some models (got to love the models, or it is a no go with me) and reading some of the fluff (a major thing for me as well), I was pretty much hooked. It helped with seeing the Zombie Chihuahua!
The game system looks pretty interesting and am hoping to see how it all really works out this week.
So now, there is a small group of us at the FLGS that are interested in getting it going. I am starting with the Witch Hunters and am eagerly awaiting their arrival this week. We should be having at least one of each faction and with the great prices, might even be able to suck in some of the 40kers around!
