Ramos is rather appealing to me. The problem is I'm still trying to find my place in the game and its not easy since alot is grabbing my attention. Decisions decisions.....

Thanks for all the help so far guys. I know its all in the rule book, I just haven't gotten around to book marking all the important pages I need to know yet. I think I've gotten the basics down, I just have to work on all the special stuff. Like the Graverobbers ability, if I use this does the model automatically gain the tokens even if they're none on the board?

So I played my first game tonight with proxies and really enjoyed it. I basically used the Undertakers Lot set up with a Convict Gunslinger for support. While I know we fudged more than a few rules, there were a few things about Nicodem that I was confused about. Hopefully you nice people here can shed some light on these questions for me. 1. Does it cost anything to pick up a corpse counter or do I simply move over it while walking/charging? 2. When casting The Fog, does the HT 5 soft cover also block line of sight? 3. The action Arise, does this only sacrifice counters Nicodem carries or does it include all counters within 10 of him (as in non picked up counters and counters carried by other models within 10)? I'm finding that I really like the game but not having someone who really knows how to play near is making it hard at times. Anyways, thanks in advance guys

Ok, well now that hiring a Crew has been cleared up I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice on picking one. My girlfriend has settled on Lady Justice and the Death Marshalls but I'm undecided. We're planning on joining a league during the summer that has some restrictions. Some of the restrictions are that we have to use all the contents of the starter box, we have 30ss to work with, and whatever models we can fit with those points are all we get for the league. No switching things out. While I'm not to crazy about some of that I can work with it I suppose. What I've figured is that with most of the starters at that points level is that you'll have a starter and maybe one other model. So far I've been leaning towards the Pandora starter with a Convict Gunslinger (just really like the model) or Nicodem with a swarm of zombies. I'd really like to try the Gremlins out but from what I've read they're not really good for a begining player. So, what would you guys and gals suggest? I'm open to suggestions aside from the ones above since I haven't actually put any money into the game yet aside from the book.

So what about models like Killjoy that have Mercenary, Undead, Neverborn, and Unique for characteristics? NVM, just figured it out :club:

Hi everyone. My girlfriend and I are brand spanking new to the game and while we have both more or less settled on a Crew, we do have a couple questions. In the rule book under the Hire Crews section it says you can hire Minions with two of them having the Mercenary characteristic. It also say you can hire Minions from out side your faction. Does that mean if I play with a Guild Crew could I use Minions from either the Arcanist and Outcasts or just from the Outcasts? I hope I've phrased that so it makes sense.
