  1. Hi all,

The time has come that I must cross over from the 5th dimension to the mortal plane and roll a character for our DnD group while another of our PCs takes his turn to reside in the 5th and lawyer our asses...

What I would like to request is possible melee combos (race/class).

Your suggestions are all welcome here.

I have played a Razoclaw Shifter Druid, and would happily lean back towards this, however, I am open to other suggestions.

All I require is the following in your suggestions:

    Name:

    Race:

    Class:

    Lvl 1 stats/feat/ability/skills.

Anything else you wish to add would be most welcome and appreciated

  2. Our Heros bravely fled the bear, who was able to follow them by teleporting, however the palladin of Bahumut, Balistare (sorry don't know how to spell his name)noticed how each time the bear teleport, it became less substanstual and he took his axe and defeated the in one swing. After casting a spell to find the location of the summoner of the bear, Kallen found a shadow figure behind them, balthazar. Balthazar introduced himas as a friend who helped them defeat the dark, to warn them that Dark One has been back for a few mounths and that he is currently possessing Abercrombie and that Yazra is currently beening held in Shadowfang keep. When Balthazar and Quin sensed a Mind Flyer comming, Balthazar took them to his home where they could train and prepare for taking Shadowfang keep.

Sorry it's a bit of a glance over, if it was detailed as my normal Fan fic, it would be several pages long

Eventually, you or someone else will be required to write it up into a generally better version...

Even if we took turns at it, I reckon we have an epic story in the making.

  3. I never should have told you about the damned bear!

This is what happens when you give your DM information about previous games you've had, folks. They'll use it against you.

    With extreme prejudice.

Next time, dont give me a reason to use it against you...

Alright, so it was my partner's birthday on the weekend and we went away, which meant that the group would go without a DM.

However, I did not wish for them to have to miss another session, so an alternative was decided.

One of the members volunteered to DM and run his own character. We traded suggestions and I left the party in his care with my blessings. This person was none other than Sliver Chocobo, who (hopefully) will be along shortly to provide the narrative summary for you all...

I am still waiting to hear exactly what went down so that I can pick up where they left off last time... and will update you with what happened when I also give this week's narrative.

    Excelsior!

  4. Nice paintjob on Nix.

OSL tricky ive tryed the drybrush way far to messy for me your better off painting it on just work it out slowly to where you think it should go and start with a darker shade and work it up from their...and you need to go to hoh for a look great place.i'll pm you a pic of the osl i did so i dont block up your thead

Why not post it up in your thread?

Or make a new one if you want to keep Wyrd minis separate from your Rackham, etc.

  5. Many "free" online games have a purchase element which allows those who wish to get ahead to accelerate their development.

I remember a friend spending ALOT of $ on a game called Evony and then whining to me about it when someone who spent more $ destroyed his kingdom.

Apparently, Bots are par for the course in these games.

  6. Jason,

You are coming ahead in leaps and bounds, mate!

I love the tree bases. The minis and placement are perfection.

Hopefully, we will see some of these at AUSCON next year...

I have some ideas I need to discuss with you also.

  7. Oh, and for those who wish further proof that All Saints stripped the soul from "Under the Bridge" when they covered it, here is a blurb from Wikipedia:

The most successful cover version of "Under the Bridge" was released in 1998 by the pop band All Saints, with the single reaching number one in the UK. The cover removed the final verse of the song that discusses drug use.[50] Red Hot Chili Peppers were, however, displeased with this version; Kiedis felt the cover was poorly recreated and, with the omission of the final verse, it lost all personal significance.

    And here are the videos...

  8. If the OP didn't link to YouTube I would never believe it, and I wouldn't even search for it, such is my disbelief that such a cover could exist.

One i didn't like was Panic at the Disco covering Radiohead's Karma Police. They had to add some extra swearing to show how edgy they are..

Another was All Saints covering Under the Bridge. It was just... soulless.

They didn't add anything to it at all, just removed all feeling from it and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't actually know what the song was about. Just a shameless cash-in.

I'm still waiting for Marilyn Manson to cover Heart of Glass though!

    Firstly, you are most welcome.'

Secondly, I agree with your above points.
