I see that Mac T is on the preorder list on Miniature Market under the ?Ressers? for some reason, but is he due out in Sept. Or Oct.?

Yet as a Ophelia player he is not on my 'need' list right now. But when aSom'er comes out he will be a must.

Well Omenbringer that is were we might be having our different views. I play the LaCroix kin when I play Gremlins and have not used Som'er as of yet.(Waiting for Peaches.) So I find the Bayou boys a 'meh' choice when compared to the Youngins, Slophualer and Kin. Lenny just looks like he will compliment the Kin's weaknesses and add a 'thump' where it is needed.

I still am not sure how Som'er feels or what he needs so I can not speak for Som'er players.

When we get some more play experience it will be interesting to see what his Tactica will look like at Pull My Finger.

24+ Defences? What?

Was he cheating high and burning SS? If so sounds like you just had a bad hand. LCB has an awful defence of 4 and you should of had the advantage.

He hits super hard but has no defensive capabilities.10 wounds with no way to negate the damage naturally he is a big glass cannon.

Am I missing something here, because if you survived two rounds to hit him he should have been dead.

The 'issue?' with the Kin is that everyone of them is good at their area of talent, so just dropping one is going to take some thought. Francois is great with the Hair Trigger but Rafael is great for flanking on his own and taking points. Or just heading in and getting into a ruckus. Don't under estimate Hard to Kill with Gremlins Bleed Green.

So essentially you will have to design a list to the Strategy or Faction you are facing instead of a one size fits all crew.

So we are trying to rally the community to update and finish the Wiki for all the book 1&2 models over the next month. We will be doing a faction a week and we need you Outcasts to Help out.

I will be looking into the finishing the LaCroix's though I have no experience with Som'er yet. So if someone can give some pointers on the LaCroixs with Som'er it would be appreciated.

So anyone else up for this and want to add in their thoughts on their favorite Outcast? Heck if you see something missing or incorrect see to fixing it.

Just remember to follow the guidelines and we are golden.

All the Lacroix Kin are great. We can't post all the stats as it infringes on copy rights but you can go to Pull My Finger Wiki, link in my Sig, to get an idea of how they are. Pere and on other kin, forget which one but plan on finishing them up myself soon, are not started yet but Ophelia is there and it hits the basics of her box set.

They are a seriously solid crew and my Meta won't let me play with them except for special times.:sadpuppet1

Undress with a decent chance of working is a great selling point. It will get far more use than Seduction, but the power of Seduction is the most appealing.

Undressing someone will make them likely to get hit for some decent damage, but Seduction will spell doom for a model that will be in range of Seamus' crew to be hit with it.(That spell would be on the verge of being broken if it had a longer threat range.)

He still needs game testing, but if you can eliminate some of the worst threats before he manifests, problems like Niño, and also don't throw him directly into the middle of your opponent's force then he should last as long as his normal version. That is of course assuming both crews have thinned out by the time he manifests.

He is not immortal so don't go and be foolhardy by rushing completely out front with no support. Seamus is on a 50mm base and is Ht 3 so hiding him will be hard but not impossible on a table with ample terrain.

A lot of avatars are like that. Some gain abilities that fill holes in their playstyle and others take away abilities that make a master unbalanced.

But I will say aSeamus is still a wp based master becuase he causes terror checks left and right like mad with his presence, his attacks, along with everyone in his crew gaining +1 to their terrifying or gaining the ability if they didn't have it. In fact everything he does causes moral checks.

Oh, almost forgot, only two other models in the game don't make moral checks with his Anathema ability, aPandora and the aDreamer. And I mean everyone, constructs included.

Have not seen any news about release dates changing. My guess is that Wyrd tends to release new products to distributors at the end of the release month so the merchants might be listing the date they will have them available to the public.

My LGS is a good example. The Young LaCroix were shown as an August release but it didn't hit my store till the 2nd of September. My LGS's distributors got them at the end of August though. Hence an august release.

Dead Rider with the Gravespirit does look very tempting. Luring the enemy in for him to hack off a head just seems so juicy.

I myself would likely switch out the Gunslinger for a Dead Doxy (Love his gun, but would want a more support model to go with the lure and raise idea here.) becuase if she can cast Undress the target model has no chance.

Defiantly a good list to drag in targets for corpse counters so we can dance with more Belles.

I see Dumb Luck's concern about taking up SS that can be used for lower costing Gremlins but his usefulness seems to be worth 3 Bayou Gremlins. He hits much harder, is hard to bring down and adds armor to those around him.

He will make you switch up some tactics but he will not make a crew weaker by any means.

We can even do a faction a week as a special focus.

This week we can focus on the Outcast (Randomly picked) and then focus on another faction the following week. Doesn't seem overwhelming to the Mega Posters that way.

I love the Pull My Finger Wiki but have noticed there are still holes in the Tactica and Henchman sections. Also there are no entries for Book 3 so I thought I would make a community rally call to pitch in.

I too will look over some sections to see if I can pitch in too.

I do hear and understand your argument Calmdown, yet I believe we may look at the game differently. I don't play a Seamus crew for a killy list just like I don't play a Pandora list as a Killy list. In fact I don't play Lilith's crew as an all killy list. I play for VP which is not reliant on killing all of your opponent's models the majority of the time.

My point being Seamus is going to need some hard hitting models but he does work better when you bring models that play to his strengths. Terror.

An all Belles list outside of a fun list is not advised bit I also don't advise loading Seamus up on a Smashy list either. There are masters that thrive on that kind of lists but he is not one of them.

I see bring a Deathrider, Rouge Necromancy, or other undead beasts in lists that have the points to play with, 30+, but otherwise find it counter productive to Seamus' strengths.

Convict Gunslinger, the Hanged, Punk Zombies, and the Croaked Men are good adds to Seamus for their average point costs.

Again I suggestif you want a solid smashing list Seamus is not it. He is more about Board Manipulation and causing Terror.

(I have won more than a couple games where I had no models left on the table and my opponent focused on killing my whole crew. They had half if not more of their crew left and they earned 5 to 0 VP. All those times I had my full 8 VP. this was of course with my main crew Lilith so I still need to test this out with Seamus.)

Has any of the major supporting models (Samuel, Francisco and the likes.) shown any talent at manipulating the power in the Soul Stones? I have not seen any and that seems to be the difference between a powerful minion and a Henchman/Master.

Of course there are those that have developed the ability long after their trip throw the breach and the Event could be an excuse for unleashing their hidden power but they will still need to be able to manipulate Soul Stone to be upgraded.

An all Belle list does lack the hitting power that other lists bring, hence Avatar Seamus being such a Beast and the Rouge Necromancy being available to Molly, but I agree that Von Schill is a tough sell with Seamus.

That said Seamus' crew is not one to bring if you want a "Smashy" list. His crew tends toward the Terror checks and WP debuffs. Even nasty WP models like the Death Marshals can have a hard time after you hit them with multiple debuffs.

Also as you mentioned the Hanged is great with Seamus and more so with the Grave Spirit attached to him.

Also when you get to 35+ games look into Molly and Seamus' Avatar as it makes Seamus' "fluffy" lists more competitive along with being fun.

Now if you want a hard hitting crew that is good at causing damage look into McMourning.

Fetid you don't "have to use" Final Encore for her slow to die action if you do not want to put wounds on a healthy model. But there will be situations in which you will want to keep her alive and your other Belles are stuck in a bad position to retaliate against the attack that was just made.

Is it going to be a must use everytime you get a chance? No. Will it get used? H#!! yes it will. Especially on turn 5 or 6 when model positioning becomes key.

This is a list I was playing around with in my head. I already love the Waldgeist and Tuco seems to fit in well with Lilith's style.

Well the Crooligans do also bring a 3" AOE of obscuring so that too is an added bonus against shooty crews.

But I will appreciate another range model, even more so with Molly and the Doxy giving everyone to their defences.

The rule is listed on the Autopsy and RN cards themselves not on McMs card.

All of the newer undead models that came after the first book all list how they can be summoned on the Minions' card instead of the Master.(Wryd can't predict the minions that they will release in the future that far ahead.)
