  1. I will be running one of the intro TTB modules at JordanCon next weekend! It's my favorite convention, my favorite RPG, and I'm in charge of gaming there.

    What could go wrong??

Malifaux will be at 1pm April 21st. I'll be running a scenario that I call Night of Death. Everyone plays a Guild Guard, and they're being swamped by almost two hundred mindless zombies. Best of luck!

TTB will be at 4pm, the same day.

Everything will be provided for each game.

  2.  Sunday, 8/20/2017, at 1pm at Parker Banner Kent and Wayne in Cornelius NC I'll be running a one shot of Through the Breach. If you're in the area and have been curious about the game this would be a great chance to check it out.

This will also serve as an exploratory meeting for setting up a regular game at PBKW, using official Penny Dreadfuls.

The address for the store is: 21500 Catawba Ave, Cornelius, NC 28031

There is food in the area, including two grocery stores in easy walking distance. You're welcome to bring snacks or lunch!

  3. I'll be running a few of the intro games at ConCarolinas this year. We'll also be running a couple of Malifaux tournaments and doing demos as often as we can get the people together for them.

    Con site: http://www.concarolinas.org/

Events Schedule: http://ogre.justusproductions.com/ogre/browseschedule/allx#tab-279  Events listed by game/event name.

This is the first of what will hopefully be many conventions that we, the NC Henchmen can do for the community. Come out and say hi, get some games in, or try something new!

Through the Breach will take place Friday 6/3 at 8pm, Saturday 6/4 at 1pm and Sunday 6/5 at 11am. I expect each session to last about two hours. Each session will be the Recruitment Drive as I've found this to be a great quick start set of rules as well as a fantastic introduction into both the setting and game.

  4. The next place and time I'll be able to demos is at Parker Banner Kent and Wayne this coming Saturday, December 5th. I'll be hosting a tournament that day and would love to be able to introduce the game to new folk who'd like to check it out.

If anyone would like to arrange a demo day let me know here, and I'll see what we can work out.

  5. We'll be playing at Parker Banner Kent and Wayne (the superhero law firm posing as a comic and game shop!) in Cornelius, NC. We'll do registration starting at 10:30am and start the first round at 11am.

This will be a 50SS tournament using Gaining Grounds 2015. The rounds will be 2 hours long, with 15 minutes to set up before each game.

I'll post some more information and links here in a bit!

  6. Since the original breach was formed in the latter 18th century somewhere "out west" I think we can rule out the wild west most likely. There just were not many legitimate cities at the time.

I always thought either New Orleans (for the ease of sea travel for these mages to come from all over the world) or St Louis (as the "doorway" to the west). I lean towards New Orleans to be honest.

  7. At Parker Banner Kent and Wayne we'll be running events all day.

I'll start Wyrd games events (Malifaux and Evil Baby Orphanage demos) at six pm. My name is Jon, I should be pretty easy to find (I'll be the guy with the Malifaux demo set up).

The Meet Up site can be found here.

The Facebook page for the store is here. There is a store-miniatures page on Facebook as well, it is here.

For anyone that wants to come out for the day there is plenty of food around, a few places are within easy walking distance. There is quite a bit more food (including standard fast food) within a ten minute drive. The store's webpage can be found here.

    The store's address is:

    21500 Catawba Ave, Suite A

Cornelius, NC 28031 (it is in the same building as the Rite Aid)

    The phone number is: (704) 892-GAME (4263)

    Forgot something else!

The Tabletop Day site link for the store is here.

  8. I have been told by my local players that they love swag but they even the most competive really appreciate something that signifies there prize. Tropies, framed certs or plaques really make them happy.

Do you use a specific certificate? There were a couple floating around, and I can't find any of them :-/

We've always done straight store credit, I'm on the hunt for new ideas.

Y'all are rocking them thank you!

  9. The rubber bands are great for holding things together while glue dries.

Beyond that, the others are right. Don't use them as part of building material.

You might want to look around for bamboo skewers. They might be the right thickness for your upright poles. Plus, they're cheap as can be usually and are great for all sorts of stuff.

  10. I did something similar to Boshea to get mine to fit correctly.

I left the vertical part of the tab alone, and cut the horizontal part out of it completely. The issue is that the part that creates the "rounded" edge is acting like a spacer, and not allowing the top pieces to fit correctly. Once I cut those pieces out I was able to get the top halves together to fit as snugly as they did separately, meaning very little seam.

I actually tried decreasing the sides of the tab the same way the OP did, and didn't work nearly as well as just cutting off that rounded edge of the tab.

I hope that helps someone out there!
