I'm excited to have the Catalan riflemen and Yannick on the battlefield with Anya, to try new combo with the Syndicate.
Also, I really look forward to get some victory with the Syndicate, so far my % of Wins is not really exciting, considering how tricky is this crew to play 😟Syndicate realy apeal to me and will be my second pickup, souch about the crew theoreticaly works for me, if i can get my head round them.

The rex is currently on the painting table. I have only played 3 games with Apex sofar with a set list, one of everything except harpooner. I love how different the crew plays from how I first thought it would.
Can you elaborate on what you expected to what you got?

I've been finding Apex to be amazingly flexible, especially when adding in Versatile/OOK options. I'm not sure there's a pool they're actually bad into.
I dont think there bad, i think there probably mid tire now and will only go up as the shinning stars weekenses become aparant.

I am really excited for the first batch of nerfs to your shiny-shiny faction... 😈
beside that, I can't wait to get my ordered DUA/Umbra boxes. Ivan has one of my favourite sculpts in the game so far - he's going to be a blast to paint!
The word from higher level play seems to be that there not broken or op, just that you need to adapt to playa against them, we have had verying amounts of years to learn the dynamics of diferant factions (i remember somer as an outcast). But no where near as long for exploreres. Ten thunders when they came out were considerd very strong and without nerfs they came into line by realising that they are an efficiansy faction and you cant try and out efficiancy them.
Anyway, this is a possitive thread not a nay say poo poo one

I'm excited to put my Apex crew on the table. I've played them on Vassal a couple times put I can't wait to see the painted crew on the table.
Using the rex? Apex is a crew i keep forgeting about. I like there rules and models, but i always forget they exist

I still enjoy most of my games against ES! They really make you think about how to take down the enemy crew.
So your an inflitrating enemy hiding among us.
I always find it refreshing to hear a rational oponants point of view on things. Can be a bit of a sounding chamber when its just the players of the faction

Excited to finally finish my Frontier keyword (just need Rough Riders and Frontiersmen, all of whom are actively on the painting table). The last couple pools I've seen have prompted reactions of, "oh, I wish I had all my Basse stuff ready so I could try him in this."
How are you finding the wurm? I love tremmors so feel a realy strong pull to the wurm
-
Intresting excitment for evs, the keyword that on the face of it is the one people call dull. I like the mehanics of the crew (at least in theory) but i think its a headache crew that would burn me out by game 3
-
I should proabably say what i am excited for.
Im getting my jedza in the post soon (my first explorer) and im realy looking forward to getting some play.
Anya is also calling to me from beyond

I supose. I get the vibe that she is designed to be fine at everything and excel no where. And use her consistancy to make that a viable play style.
Any thoughts on her henchwoman. I have no idea how to make her usefull. Putside of her very short ranged aura

I went against a surprisingly deadly one. Harata's - to willpower aura + Maxine's wp attack = tons of damage.
Harata seems strong to me, possibly my favorit in keyword model, which is sad as he buffs keyword.
Maxin seems to support oriented to get much benefit from his aura.
Beebe and calypso dont get my juices floweing. Same with the tide caller. He seems a bit bland, interesting toss, but thats it.
Orvill is a bit bland as totems go
And machineists seem strong. But pigeon holed
-
Has anyone had any look with this keyword yet? I dont know where to begin with list building as it seemes like a mistake there kills the crew.
-
Would someone be able to do a turn one walkthrough for jedza useong comman models. Just thinking things like, jedza, sophie, mikhal and emissary/effigy+ any othere super common models.
Placment, actions commonly taken, Things like that

Having seen the new syndicate sniper, wpuld you pay the two extra ss for a vatiga?

I have heard the recpmendation for lamp lighters and i like the spund of this.
I feel like belhop porter has some validity in this crew. Giving shielded has a roal in protecting gibson or ivan. Same for his pull out of engagment also a 10" attack that can place a shadowmarker next to an enemy, perfect for the ivan crew, although admittedly less usefull when shadow is there as conceling will hamler him

Just orderd my jedza crew and some support.
How many ss pool do people like to run with her?
-
With anya having such a limited pool and her upcoming releases not even being in faction. How to people tend to build her crew? Im guessing its mostly ook and versitial, but what makes the cut for her?
I feel like lamp lighters could be good for her, a heal that pushes is nice for anyone, but sovereign would get alot out of it. Ranged scheme placing to trigger anyas hazardous. And conceling for cover or lit for +flips is nice any day.
-
Owww, thats very sexy, thank you very much, also safe trasport than a spindly lamp
Do you use a corectly sized base, or a flat bit of card/plastic?
-
Hi there
Im geting some lamp lighters and really want to make lamp markers but is there any point, as markers need to be 2 dimensional dont thay, due to models ability to walk over them?

We have a tennuous lead on the other half of the dragon being in the bayou IIRC. Meridion is currently sealed up in leylines, and if was active would probably be with her followers in the gibbering horde rather than enacting some subterfuege among humans.
If she is a Tyrant my guess would be Nameless, but I'm assuming she's some other kind of ancient entity. Maybe like along the lines of the original forms of the living blades.
Yh, i supose she does have a large collection or armaments and an interest in baldes
-
So. Out there theory.
Gretchin is a tyrant trying to re-ascend.
Either head two of the two headed dragon (janus is a two faced god).
Or meridion, god of balance (janus is the balance between opossing ideas) and i think (may be way in the wrong hear) that in gretchin stuff it mentions laylines.
She just seemes to have alot going on, above what a standard human would know/have.
She has nephilim connections and the tyrants made the nephilim.
She has a colection of large hammers, possibly relic hammers. The things needed to seal tyrants away again. That if she hides away, cant be used for that.
Something feels of about this woman, and i think gov general mk2 is to lazy a writing path and not something they would take. I know we have had tyrants among us befor. But not as an active member of society. They always retreat from human connections, it wpuld be interesting to see a tyrant happy to use humans in a more subtle way than the previous ones

I think its more a bit of a scenic base and hes posted up near a tree to give the model depth and hight as otherwised he would look all balled up
