  1. Khail, are you the man that was in the kilt? If so, thank you very much for the demo. It was well done. I was was the taller guy.
  2. So I'm using Safari on a Mac. The fix: just keep canceling the download and restarting it. Sort of weird but it worked. Not sure why I kept getting capped around 1.5 MB, but who cares anymore! Thanks for the responses.
  3. I'm talking I left it overnight and it didn't go past where it took 5 seconds to get to. I've tried it multiple times on all three Chronicles and it's the same story. About 1.5 MB in and then it just stops. Hopefully I can figure it out...
  4. Just wanted to emphasize this one. RJD2 really is awesome.
  5. I think the PP games became too unwieldy for newer players to try and get involved in. The pure amount of rules was on an incredible level, especially the intricacies of interactions. While there are roughly the same amount of rules, because of the same amount of models, the wonky rules interactions are mostly removed. Of course a few still exist as relics of the past, but in general, the abusiveness is toned down. Anyone else remember their first game against a few units of Bane Knights? Yeah, that's fun. Anyway, I'm excited for both PP games, and also very excited for Malifaux. I'm hoping I get the chance to really take my time with the smaller amount of minis and become a better painter. There is a lot of potential there, and since each mini has so many little things to do, it's a bit easier to put that commitment in.
  6. While not directly related to the boards, I'm having difficulty downloading the Chronicles. I can only download about 1.5-1.8 MB of the 20 MB file or so. Then it just screams to a halt. Anyone else having this issue? And resolution in mind? Much appreciated!
  7. Oh man... countless times. Being in a profession that requires a uniform and my last name sewn or pinned on, you'd think people around me would remember that it was my last name. Not even so there... Alas! And judging from the avatar I'm guessing Kelmor is Kevin. Thanks for taking the time to talk at TempleCon. Always appreciated.
  8. I'm very glad to be on board! Started assembly tonight, and they look to be awesome models. I'm not the most skilled painter, but I hope I can do them some justice. Also, I'm very happy to see the people sailing this ship being involved with their customer base. I think it's a new paradigm. After all, the relationship between designer and consumer is symbiotic. Well done gentlemen. And finally, excellent last name Eric. I wonder if our family trees have the same roots somewhere in the past...
  9. I had heard about the game and got a demo at TempleCon. Really liked the way the card mechanic worked. Liked it a lot. Not completely sold on the setting, but it is growing on me. Picked up the Lady Justice and McMourning boxes and two Fate Decks so I can sell it to some more people in my play area. I'm excited to try and get a small following around here. I hope to be able to contribute something of use to the community. Just as some background, I come from the Privateer camp, and thoroughly enjoy those games. Not abandoning them, just expanding my horizons. Not sure why Kevin isn't with Privateer anymore, but I've always respected what he has to say, so him liking Wyrd enough to be on board was another selling point for me. It was good to get to talk to him at TempleCon. He definitely pushed me over the edge to actually buy up some stuff. I look forward to what this company has in store!
