Hello all! I must admit you guys have a mighty attractive thing going for yah here, certainly didn't want to miss my opportunity to attach my hitch to this wagon. =)
I hail from the great Lovers State of Virginia, to be more specific I call downtown Leesburg my home. I've been an avid Wargamer for going on almost 11 years now and it's definitely turned into somewhat of a lifestyle for me, a lifestyle I plan on maintaining as long as this world (and my Wife) will let me. =P
My gateway drug into Wargaming, as I'm sure it was with a lot of people, was Warhammer 40k, started off with Necrons and eventually picked up Witch Hunters as the years passed. After a while I picked up Warhammer Fantasy and dabbled into my more Chaotic side. And most recently I've been playing WarmaHordes and monkey stomping people to the best of my abilities with my Trollbloods force (couldn't resist the Blitzer model).
Believe it or not I still actively play all of the above games, mostly going back in forth between 40k and WarmaHordes with a little Fantasy splashed in once a month as it comes up within my playgroup. As a result I told myself to try and not get into any other table top games... but dangit, Malifaux is just to damn sexy! XD
From the model range, to what fluff I've managed to read out of the Webzines to the way the game plays, it all oozes flavor. And I have to admit, the extraordinarily affordable entry price increases its attractiveness ten-fold. As this will allow me purchase more then one gang so I can try and hook others into it. =)
Just want to compliment Wyrd on what they've created, and I look forward to adding your system to my proverbial repertoire of Wargames. (ô¿~)b
