This seemed like a really strange way to paint at first, but after trying it, it seemed to work quite fine, especially on clothes. I've been having problems with not creating enough contrast on most of my models but this one seems to force me to highlight more. Still, bright white is rare for me. Thanks. -
As long as the pages stick together you should be fine. Almost any kind of glue with somewhat rubbery properties should work. At least Loctite had some available I think. It was a normal superglue gel but it remained flexible after drying. You might want to clean the old glue off before that though.

I'll sign up too. I will not worry about any small prints etc. Somebody just has to think about the poor little children. And once teddy and doppelganger arrive I might have to get Lilith and Zoralda too...
