Not a pro - unless you count being a pro at errors. Tacky Glue (brand name) works a little better than elmers and dries clear. OR resort to super glue, it will work - have used it when I didn't want to prime over my ballast (smal rock) and flock. Be careful not to put your ballast and sand on too heavy.

Thanks will call around to find some or order. Was sending Vallejo paints so will try for their brush on primer. Small opening works best in Shamals.

I tried the Vallejo Translucent water effects on a fountain - the "white" caps never did clear so do not recomend. With Clear cast be sure to tint as will yellow over time. Used it to "fill" desert oasis and craters - was able to layer the "water" by tinting each layer and embedding bits at different layers. So far does not seem to have shrunk.

The pipe molds are Hirst. The guys love Hirst's broken Round building for playing, is constructed with the base at table level. The Egyptian obilisks also seems to make it onto the table just about every game. Made my graveyard using his graveyard mold.

This is a good time of year to go to Michaels/HobbyLobby ect - they have trees, lights and ponds. Am using a tree that has light-up tips and a 50mm base with a skellie hanging from it for the hanging tree. Had to do something with my Khemri.

Used hirst-arts wooden plank mold cast in resin to make an outhouse. After the holidays will try using 2 metal jewlery rings to hang the door.

I don't want to file & primer the models, they are a gift. In Iraq soldiers get bored and Malifaux is a great cure. And yes, I also would be major irritated if someone filed my minitures, so planned to send the files, primer and paint. I am a poor painter but good at filing and building terrian. Which brand of brush on primer is best? I have never used it.

am getting a priority mail shipment together for a deployed novice level painter/new player, all the primers say they cannot be shipped overseas. Any suggestions. I really don't want to open file and primer the models. Am already going to have to pull and laminate the cards - I want it to look new not used.

Agreed - pure genius. Am just thinking about getting started on the bases for Arcanists and Resurrectionists. Can't decide how closely tied the bases should be for the different models of the same faction. This gives me some ideas! Thanks
