No worries, just thought I had read something about it somewhere. That being said, I absolutely love how the Gremlinette looks. I'm sorry to see them discontinue this type of promotion if that is what the post that I quoted actually means. I do understand where Wyrd is coming from though. Hope to get an official announcement on the promotion by Nathan though with a potential clarification.

I think they had posted that they were going to discontinue the promotion to encourage shopping at FLGS'. Iirc it was a reply in the December release topic. Found the post by Nathan, it's page 4 of the November releases.

Okay, I'll have to just buy the game myself and then probably start up demoing when I move. I'm moving back to Barstow, Ca in about 6 to 9 months so I'd hate to just start getting the ball rolling out here to have to start over again when I move. Thanks for the replies

Hello my step-son and I are looking into buying 2 groups of Malifaux minis. I'm interested in McMourning and he is interested in Marcus. Unfortunately we live nowhere near a FLGS or any sort of club that we are aware of. We have not been able to look at a copy of the rulebook yet, so this will be spculation on my part. Here are the planned purchases so far: Marcus boxed set extra Rattler extra Cerberus 1 pack Molemen 1 pack Silurids 1 essence of power I have heard that his totem is the Jackalope, so if this comes out prior to us buying the minis we will buy this instead of the essence of power. I was wondering if there are any other models I should be considering, or that may be coming out in the future that I should keep my eyes open for. Thanks for looking and giving advice.

Hi, I've been lurking the forums for a while and finally decided to post something. My step-son and I have been looking at different miniature games to start as some sort of father/son time activity. Malifaux seemed like the easiest/least expensive start up option. Sadly we dont have a FLGS or any established miniature club of any sort in the area to look at or hear about rules/tactics. I'm interested in the resurrectionist faction, more specifically McMourning. I was wondering what purchases I should make and what options from the faction make McM fairly competitive. These suggestions dont have to just be current models. It's probably going to be a few months before I'm able to get the money for them. Thanks for your time, Brian
