The biggest event in the global Malifaux calendar is back, and aiming to be the biggest ever. Overseas players are very welcome and travel from London by train has been considered.

That'd gives us a nice round 16 pairs so I'm declaring the event full, unless 2 more pairs want to enter.

Best painted will be on an individual basis, and will be Master + Totem.

Also, although it's not in the rulespack I'd prefer that each pair covers 2 factions.

This year's event will be themed around the Star Theatre which will determine the direction of any artwork. However I need to know numbers to be able to plan everything,  so it's time to buy your ticket.

Lots of places bagged, but payment by the end of July to cement them please.

Capacity increased to 40 players, but that really is the limit.

Following last year's successful event I will again be running a Badlands themed event. Expect tables themed around the Badlands and Bayou, with plenty of severe, concealing and dense terrain.

As we have to set up the room before we can set out the terrain it would help if you can arrive early and lend a hand. I'll be there from 8am.

There will be tea and coffee available for a small donation to charity. You are also welcome to donate some cake or biscuits to the pool to raise a bit more money.

Finally note that Lavendon has limited facilities, so might be worth bringing your lunch with you. Nearest town is Olney which is a 5 minute drive away.

Following last year's successful event, we will return to Newark showground over the weekend of 18/19th November.

With expanded interest both in UK and around the world, capacity will be increased to 116 places. Entrants from everywhere are most welcome and overseas players will no doubt be challenging for the top places as usual. However it's always a fun event for all players, with unique swag and some great raffle prizes courtesy of our sponsors.

How many players do you have attending, and is there any plan for Saturday evening?

With tournament attendance increasing its opportune to find space for a 4 round event, to attempt to get a clear winner. So after a few years away all hail the return of Cow Wars.

Cow Wars VII: The Friesian Awakens will have a 48 player capacity and will take place at Lavendon Village Hall. This is located just outside of Milton Keynes,  10 minutes drive from J14 of the M1. The hall has plenty of space, and is next to a pub.

As well as aiming to provide a great day's gaming, the event will raise money for local charity Willen Hospice. £5 of the entry fee will go to charity, and there will be a charity raffle.

On Saturday I'd like to start game 1 a little earlier to allow a longer game with the aim of at least getting to turn 4. Recent experience has shown that game 1 is the slowest as players get into the swing.

Therefore can you please be on-site and registered with me by 9:30 with the aim of starting game 1 at 9:45am.

Hi Mike. There are no hard on fast rules on recording conditions, wounds, etc. Personally I use markers & dice respectively, some write on their cards and others use the app. Whatever you are comfortable with is fine. Be prepared to share such info with your opponent freely.

Most players use the app for game tracking, and the sheet you will get on the day includes relevant QR codes. If you need specific markers on the day that you don't have then just ak your fellow players, or me.

You'll need pen/pencil, tape measure and something to record soulstones. For GG3 specific markers check out Rampage Games (Oz is coming to the event so you can save on postage), but you'll be fine with what you have for now. After playing a few games you'll see what, if anything, you need/want to buy for the next one!

Finally, if you don't manage to pre-register on Bag o Tools don't worry, I 'll sort that out on the day.
