Just curious what are people fielding with Sonia they consider her a top master. She looks powerful, but her crew seems kind of meh
-
I'm actually pretty shocked from a fluff point of view he isn't versatile
-
Wong + 2GIAGS
Olivia
Sammy
2 swine cursed
2 bokor
Lightning Bug
Mechanized porkchop
3SS
Took against a leveticus list
Turf war
Leylines
Dig their graves
Take prisoner
Assassinate
Claim jump
Got tables end of turn 4. Ended up getting shoot off the board between leveticus and rusty Alice. Didn't help couldn't flip anything and opponent kept getting modrrate / severes so stuff died before had any chance to heal anything. Score would have been 4/5 - 0

I don't believe that to be the intent actually.
It seems to me that dropping the marker on Full Load is intentional to possibly damage/kill the thrown model, and I think this is born out by the wording on it's trigger.
Sure, they could add in the "instead" text and add a clause to the ability to inflict damage to the model, but why bother adding text when the ability is already working?
I agree that seems to be rules as intended, but I feel centering is too close to Wong's and Cassandra's ability where that isn't the rule as intended isn't that those models also take the shockwave test.
just because those 2 mention instead I don't read that they generate the shockwave, especially since other actions have wording for doing a from a chosen model (example Bokor's healing burst trigger)

Yup. Remove focus and shielded. Add adversary, and injured. Attack. Double positive while they're minus 2
Use ram to get +2 dmg for min 5.
Life is good 😎
Toss in the mud only removes 1 condition
what is giving the 2nd ?
Also a ram would only add +1 damage for min 4 unless you ram and stone?
Since Toss in the mud though is only 2" Rg and not a how are people using it offensively since you can't charge and toss in the mud and can't flurry off it.

Cracking energies: when this model would drop a shockwave marker, it may instead instead center that marker on a friendly wizz-bang model within range.
Full load: shockwave 2 mv 15 damage 2 centered on the chosen model.
Suddenly doves! Instead of dropping a shockwave marker, this action may center it's shockwave on a mechanical dove within range.
All these abilities actions play around with how shockwave markers are dropped. Question is does the chosen model need to take the shockwave test, or does centering it mean the model pulses the shockwave meaning it doesn't take the test.

So just curious but what models have been Guild using to scheme with? Looking to play some of my Guild for 3E and theorycrafting really not seeing any goof scheme runners in Guild
-
honestly I really struggle to see how infamous plays in theorycraft.
They seem to excel at scheming, being annoying and able to remove enemy scheme markers. They seem to be an elite crew though with very low damage output and average defenses with no healing or support to stay in the game.

Anyone using Mancha this edition or he a dead model again?

I was just watching some YouTube videos talking about crews in M3e. The one that discussed Journalist crews talked about Nellie’s biggest strength was to hand out “Press Releases”. I finally got my faction pack, and I cannot seem to find this action anywhere on her card or other journalist cards, nor any upgrades. Did I overlook or miss something?
This was a beta ability. Nellie got some big changes at the end of beta

I know in outcasts we use Malifaux Child for more pianos. I'm not sure if there's another action copy model in bayou?
You can take criers out of theme for 7ss. If they target Earl they can obey him for a 9+ and 5+ card

I'm actually thinking about alternative healing options for Wong's crew. I'll admit I've not tried Bokor (don't have the model yet!), but like the Lightning Bug I feel like the high TN makes their healing less reliable than I'd like. Especially for a crew that's regularly damaging itself. Thus I think there's potential for taking an out of keyword model, like the Slop Hauler or Spit Hog?
The Slop Hauler should pair pretty well with the Swinecursed. Having a Hauler trail behind a pair of Swinecursed can help them stay alive (they're not pigs, but it's a 3" pulse and the TN is low) and boost their damage output with Adversary (Beast) from his attacks. He can also summon the odd piglet, which can't be a bad thing.
The Spit Hog is expensive at 6+1SS, but it's better at healing and the Lure action has some potential.
Thoughts?
The Bokor heals on 7+ which is still kind of high, but I find they bring a lot to the table. Their to pulse shielded can be useful. If the enemy uses a pass they get a focus (can help with obey) and with glowy they only need a 9+ to obey which is pretty amazing for a minion.
Slop haulers can hitch a ride with Swine-Cursed, but I feel without that they will be too slow to really use their heal or keep up
Spit Hog can't AOE heal and unless you attack your own models for the 1/2/3 heal I find they die very easily if you use the to heal 2/3/4. I don't think many Wizz-bang models really give up much not using their and to use the heal instead. I feel Bokor brings more to a wizz-bang crew though then a spit hog will

First turn Wong drops glowy and attacks crew once giving everyone glowy 2, fast and card from Sammy
As a base I would look at
Wong
Olivia
Sammy
2x swine cursed / 3x lightning bugs
Bokor
Yeah swine cursed can hit hard and with glowy do irreducible damage, but for 2 points less lightning bugs do good damage and can do it at range
Bokor can heal the damage and if needed use a glowy for the aoe heal
Gracie is very versatile with armor, healing on Rams (works nice since most of this crew wants times), can speed you up
Mechanized pork chop also works. Not as versatile as Gracie, but can let your charges do more damage
I wouldn't recomment the pigapult. Unless you design a crew around it I find it very meh and easy to counter. Wong's crew is fast enough you don't need the placement

My guess is it's in an upcoming book.
Also Henchman? Dashel started as a totem and worked himself up to a master

So Lenny used to be the only really tall Gremlin, but now it looks like the Spit Hog Gremlin, Alphonse, Greg or Olaf are all really abnormally big Gremlins and the Young LaCroix all seem like they will grow to be Lenny sized. So seriously what is in the Moon Shine they've been drinking recently?

I would say it's not hit because shockwaves are pulses which won't affect the model it originated from ( so the friendly model that is being the marker).
Which also neatly bypassed the second question.
I think in beta the general consensus is the model is NOT the shockwave marker and it's just centered on the model (so it's perfectly position on them) so the model needs to take the test.
This effects Wong, Pigapult and Collette iirc

TGIAGS on moon shinobi can be fun. Disguised with stealth makes them a pain to deal with. With drunken Kung Fu if they shoot the gun into friendly fire free to hit

Doesn't work anymore.
Last Beta has Alphonse Sz3, and Upgrade is +1Sz. Enough to have him throwing Swinecursed, but not the Pigapult.
His bonus action iirc gave him +1Sz

Fun list I remember from Beta
Wong (6ish stones to work with, forgot how much Alphonse costs)
Oliviva Bernard
bokor
pigapult
5x stuffed pigs
Alphonse + 2 gremlins in a ghillie suit
Sparks
general idea is Wong first should be able to easily get everything to glowy 2 (usually use bonux action and 1AP to Fzzzzap! my own models)
bokor heals some of the damage
sparks puts extra explosives on 2 stuffed pigs
Alphonse with upgrade can get to Sz 5 so can toss the pigapult around or anyone that tries to get close to it
tossing the stuffed pigs does
MV 15 or 2 damage
if the stuffed pig lives can bacon bomb for MV 13 duel or 3 damage injured 1
if the stuffed pig dies MV 14 duel or 2 damage injured 2 (sucks that injured no longer impacts MV duels)
either way 3 damage from demise (explosive)
This list I find will table unsuspecting players once and then suck as countering the pigapult doesn't tend to be that hard

Why Inferiority Complex?
I tend to run Mah as a flanker after first turn. The focus from swagger is nice and easy to get.
ruthless and diving charge usually means terrain and other models can't stop her from reaching the model I want her to kill and I can activate her to kill those annoying models with manipulative without having to play their model activation order game

Uh! nice! love the models! are they worth the out-of-Keyword-Tax?
On paper they look immensly powerful but I have yet to play them.
Bokor's I find are making a lot of my lists. Their healing and pulse shielded can be very nice. If you have an easy way to hit them they also get fast and a glowy token that makes their obey pretty easy to cast.
Only problem in my Mah list is lack of easy way to do that ping damage to the Bokor (I also use them a lot with Ophelia and at times just have a young LaCroix shoot them for 1 damage to proc fast and glowy)

I feel like my standard Mah list has been
6SS to play with
Mah + inferiority complex
Little Lass
Trixie
Big brain Brin
2x Rooster Riders
Bushwhackers
Bokor
sometimes I drop a bushwhacker

My understanding is the stuffed pig isn't the shockwave marker, but it is centered on them.
Since a 30mm model can't stand on a 30mm marker and block it, I would say that means the shockwave would still hit the stuffed pig and effect it

My normal crew for Mah is
Mah +5ss
Little lass
Trixie
Brin
2x bushwhackers
2x rooster riders with inferiority complex
General idea is use the bushwhackers to lay down pit traps and scheme
Trixie to lure stuff into the open and +1 init
Brin mainly just for the cards
And as mentioned rooster riders to just kill things.
