  1. Depends on the master you are using. If you use him I recommend taking at least one necro punk if using Leveticus or a resser. You can double walk and then leap on the first turn and be within your opponents crew. Then let them kill you necropunk and use his slow to die ability to sac him for killjoy. Now killjoy can reek havoc among the opposing crew. :)

This is my favorite use of him. Try (3) Necropunks and Killjoy in a small game, it winds up pretty hit or miss you either do amazing or lose terribly. But it's loads of fun.

  2. Thanks to everyone that made it out last night, pretty impressive turn out for the first night of Malifaux at this location.

Just a reminder if you're playing any additional games for Dead Heat or didn't turn in your results last night, please PM me or email: jmp_mydog@yahoo.com; so I can get them in for this week.

Next week I'll bring more Malifaux specific tables.

@Rhellion looking forward to seeing you there, if you don't mind me asking what type of bases did you pick up?

Gamer's Gauntlet is hosting Malifaux Gaming. I'll be on hand for Demos and to coordinate open gaming. Come on in an log your games for the Dead Heat Campaign and stay tuned to this thread for future events.

Each week I'll bring in a few custom terrain boards for use and the store has plenty of nice terrain and tables available.

  4. Looking for Malifaux Players in Metro Detroit from the east side. I'm in the process of setting up a regular Malifaux night at Gamer's Gauntlet (20564 Hall Road Charter Township of Clinton, MI 48038).

I wanted to check on the boards to see how many players are interested in playing Malifaux at this location on Tuesday nights. For me this is going to be closer than making the drive to Livonia every Tuesday.

  5. I let slip a few profanities after seeing your progress. Very inspiring, the layout looks very fun to play on. How many different molds are you currently using from hirst? And maybe which ones?

Maybe you should label it a nsfw pic though, i was on my break so no harm done but I couldve offended someone with my jealous sailor mouth :)

    From Hirst I use:

    large cobblestone squares

    fieldstone block

    ruin feildstone

    gothic bridge

    cavern accessories

    small pipes

The brick wall and street sections are from a mold I made myself.

Someone has been remiss in posting updates (I have been checking your site 3-4 times a day). Aside from that this board just continues to impress.

The 50 lbs weight isn't that bad either (the size is probably more of a hindrance for transportation).

I should have some more updates coming soon ...

  6. So I had a chance to test drive the board on Tuesday and I'm pretty happy with how it works so far. It does weigh less than 50 pounds so it's not super hard to transport.

Once I finish detailing and painting the base I'll work on adding buildings designed around the board.
