First off there are no "troops" so to say, everythings acts on their own. For this I would get Witchling Stalkers. And the BFG I would get either Nino, or Samael Hopkins.

I believe that you have it right.

It depends on what you are going for. taking out spiders for Joss or Johan (I do not have any experience with the ice elemental) is just as viable as an all spider swarm. I have used all of those and found that, while they work differently, they all work. Also with spiders I tend to start them all as single spiders. They have a higher defence then the swarm, and use up activations so you get to see where your opponent is moving. When I get into combat is when I swarm them together. They hit harder, and can self heal, which is great. Just an FYI make sure to check out the errata on how spiders swarm together. The swarm replaces and that's important.

Drop 2 spiders, and have 8SS. You will easily make 2 spider swarms the first two turns (maybe one if you can get stroke to go off on Ramos) with soulstones to get the total high enough. You save 2 SS each spider that way.

Ramos's totem comes to mind. That's a great model to have with Ramos.

It cost Ramos the printed book cost. +1SS for him being a merc, then -1 because Ramos is a union member.

I am in both of these camps. I stay motivated by painting different factions. I am almost done with the guild, but am painting Neverborn right now for a break.

ug...I hate playing against Seamus. This last Saturday I had to play against him twice in a tourny. Each game I only killed 2 of his crew. (I won both games though!)

No, Nino and hans, at least has a guild connection, unlike the doppelganger. Share if you would like. I just didn't want this thread to get grossly off topic. I always take a witchling stalker, because of dispel magic. someone has paralyzed, no problem. Shrug off is great, but won't help you if they don't have any actions.

With this being in the Guild section, I would have to assume that it is restricted by faction. Otherwise it would be in general discussion. And I totally agree with Higherbrow.
