Je parlerai avec Nathan des détails d'une traduction officielle pour les termes de jeux et les noms de faction pendant que je serai à la Gencon (histoire d'avoir au moins une base pour une éventuelle traduction).

Je vais avouer que j'ai tendance à éviter de m'inscrire sur des forums parce que je suis déjà inscrit sur tant d'entre eux, mais bon, cette fois-ci, c'est pour une bonne cause. Je m'inscrirai a mon retour de Gencon, quand j'aurai le livre de règles en main... .

Err... So Nathan, remind me to talk to you for a bit during Gencon about getting the specific game terms and names officially translated into French (might as well lay down the groundwork for expansion into future markets....).

ça c'est super ! S'il y a une traduction officielle, ça évitera les "guerres de clochers" et ça mettra tout le monde d'accord. Personnellement, je suis partisan d'une traduction "complète" des termes et noms. Pas parce que le français, c'est vachement mieux que l'anglais / américain mais parce que ça permet de s'approprier les termes et de leur donner du sens.

That's great ! If there is an official translation (into french), it will avoid useless fights and everybody will agree. Personally, I prefer a complete translation of terms and names. Not because french is awfully better than english but because it will allow (to french players) the ownership of the terms and to give a meaning to them.

@ Nathan : After several tries, I cannot select the text to work on it with "acrobat reader" or else. I am sure "acrobat writer" could help but since it is not for free...

@ tout le monde : Comme déjà dit, toute participation est la bienvenue. Envoyez-moi votre adresse mail pour que je vous donne accès au site. Et n'hésitez pas à vous inscrire au "Saloon" (visible depuis le site ).

N'hésitez pas également à venir discuter des traductions arbitrairement choisies par moi... Comment appeler les Witch-Hunter ? Des "Chasseurs de Sorcières" (alors que 2 Maîtres sur 3 sont des hommes) ? Garde-t'on des "Chasses Sorcellerie" comme je l'ai proposé pour rester générique ? Quelqu'un sent mieux les "Traqueurs de Sorciers" ? Le débat est ouvert pour ça comme pour tout le reste.

Si quelqu'un a moyen de récupérer le texte de présentation de Malifaux du Wyrd Chronicles #1, je suis preneur.

Restera à commenter les profils individuellement et par équipes lorsque les règles seront dispos. Mais là, il faudra du monde vu que j'ai que les bandes de Seamus et Dame Justice...

Donc si vous voulez y aller de votre commentaire sur votre faction ou votre équipe préférée, ce site vous est ouvert.

Le but, c'est que le jeu prenne, c'est que tous, nous donnons envie aux joueurs, c'est que nous mettions à disposition tout ce qu'il faut pour que quiconque puisse débuter. Donc je le répète, si vous avez envie d'écrire sur Malifaux en français, une tribune vous est ouverte.

Exactly, thanks for answering. I do not know why I made my sentences so complicated. But well done, you understood.

The miniatures packaging will be updated here shortly with all the stat cards so purchasing them will get them in hand at the same time when you purchase the miniature. Distributors will be offered cards as well to slot into any of their packaging they currently have on hand.

So future purchases will be fine, ok.

For folks that have purchased our miniatures in the past and are looking to have the stat cards for them, we'll be selling them by faction so that folks can pick them up quickly and easily and go from there. We won't be selling them in singles as it simply is too great a time consumption for us to track down single cards and mail them in that manner.

That's the point. Will it be possible to buy those decks at the same distributor who sold me the miniatures ? I do not specially want to avoid trading with you, guys. But the concerned distributor does not only sell miniatures but boardgames and others stuffs too. So it will be easier for me to make a "free shipping" command.

Do the cards will have the same distribution than figures for other countries ? I am specially talking of the french distribution, of course... I do not care of foreign foreigners :.
