Thanks, all, for the warm welcome! Nice to see a few familiar handles around here, as well. Thanks for the avatar compliment, Brushmistress--I'm pretty sure that it's Deedlit. A few years back I switched to this as my general forum avatar, and I can't for the life of me remember where the original pic came from! Now that my mini painting is getting better, I'll probably switch to something I've painted. Nothing specific in mind yet, though. :

I've been painting minis for a couple of years now, but it was a random birthday gift of a couple of Wyrd miniatures which finally prompted me to come on over and check out the forums here...looks like a nice friendly community to lurk in. I already see hours and hours of drooling over gallery photos ahead of me. So...hi!
