  1. Whops, that´s one point I didn´t get with Painkillers. I thought my model would be sacrificed at end of turn (like the other massive doses). I haven´t played a nurse because my opponents had already problems dealing with nicodem without them. Of course are these ranges very optimistic. Casting Fresh Meat just happend once. (but that time it was really brutal) Having Zombies in Bolster Undead while moving that far is not that optimistic, since Nicodem can move towards Fresh meat too. All in All we will keep on playing. Somehow the other players will get their twist with their crews.
  2. Your tactics seems to be based on destroying mindless zombies very fast. In fact, I rarely summon some. Reanimate is so much better. Summoning a Punk or a Flesh Construct 2 times a turn is more effective. We play strategies and schemes, but I often destroy my enemies throught the 3th turn, so I just ignore them and crush my opponents. Speed: Just some examples (with nurses, asuming all 3 drug effects): nurse activates, casts on 1 zombie mortimer activates, casts 2* "fresh Meat" Zombie activates (companion), 2* Wk/CG: Threathranges/Attacks: Punk (21"+3 Attacks (Reactivate+Flurry), with paired, CB 13 and ++ DG!!!) K9 (27"+2 attacks) Flesh Construct (24"+2 Attacks + 1 at the closing Turn) Is Liiith really faster? If she is, please explain it to me, so my opponents could learn.
  3. My opponents usually play Sonnia, Lady J, Rasputina or Lilith. We don´t own rising power. So I cannot tell how the alp bomb works. I´m not sure if it can beat a Nicodems Threathrange.
  4. Hi out there! Finally my local gaming group tends to play Malifaux. I picked The Undertaker´s Lot box set and after a few weeks of playing it seems he is a bit overpowered. Every game we played ended with a massacre. That are the points my opponents couldn´t handle: Ranged Combat is Useless: Drawing LoS to my models is impossible (The Fog). If they get LoS, they often cannot cheat due to soft cover. Bolster Undead granting +2 Df making it impossible to hit. In the few cases they actually hit, the damage is extremly reduced by Hard2Wound + Armor (Grave Spirit/Nurses) Zombie Fodder: In combination with the extrem ranged resistance, Nicodem himself is unkillable. Speed: Ressurectionists are by far the fastest Faction. The Mortimer is the nastiest litte helper EVER! Casting "Fresh Meat!" twice a round isn´t uncommon. That´s an 22" charge for K9s (18" for Samurai, 17" for Flesh Constructs, etc.) even without nurses! With them you can do a lot of insane things. Reanimate: If I play against a CC friendly Crew, there are often more Corpses I can reanimate. My opponent don´t have a shiver of hope to succes. Even against CC unfriendly Crews I tend to summon some models, so I start every turn with more SS as I startet with. Summoning Flesh Constructs: Another Bane are "Ceaseless Advancing" Flesh Constructs. If I activate my Grave Grave Spirit at the end of the turn, my opponent has to deal with a 10 Wound, Hard2Wound, Armor 2 Flesh Construct, engaging models 18" from the place the Grave spirit started. So please, tell me what the weak spots of Nicodem are. How can I be defeated?

Lets see what I got. ^^ Most "troups": -Living Impaired -Samurai Punk Zombies -Dead Ladies of the Night -Death Marshals -Bayou Gremlins Some single minis i really like: -Leveticus -Viktoria - Sword Mistress -Killjoy -The Gravedigger -The Undertaker -Ramos, Steampunk Sorcerer and a swarm of Arachonoids And two groups because i liked their flair: -Ortega Gunslinger Crew -> El-Mariachi 4 live! XD -Lilith and their folks As you can see, it´s a lot. ^^ But sadly, I´m not going to paint them soon. First I need to paint some HORDES Stuff (Legion of Everblight), a lot of CONFRONTATION (Daikinee and Griffins, and maybe Cynwäll) and then comes Malifaux. (this ist the order of the importance of painted minis to play with them) Maybe if Malifaux is released a bit earlier, I´m going to paint the Minis sonner. Greetz

  10. I´m sure I can find a 1 year old girl and let her read it... Besides it is great you are looking for some translators. Sure you first want to finish the rules but I just wanted to know if you were even thinking about translations. So I am happy you do not the same mistakes that Asmodee did... Greetz
  11. What a pity! I really looked forward to not just build an army from miniatures but also to construct a deck suiting my army and play. I mean a thing like: Every card has a dice value and an other option (special tactic, spell etc.). The stronger a spell get, the less its dice value. So in the end you draw the card from your deck as a diceroll or play it from the hand as an action. That would had opened millions of great tatics and options... Nevertheless I´m really excited about Malifaux and can´t wait to play it. Greetz
  12. So it´s the same deck for every faction, no matter what miniatures I play? I hope not! And my big question still is how I get the special cards.
  13. One thing I really like to know is how the cards will be selled. Would it be like a TCG with boosters and all, would there be a faction deck, are they with every figure I buy, or do I get them with the rulebook? Greetz
