he does give reactivate, but the toolkit makes it much easier to summon things.. and is a great totem even though it cost 1 point more than the brass.

Well for my first game,I think I did decently lol. but it does illustrate another way in which Ramos can be effective. The whole reason I recommended he talk to you about it was because I knew you were a good Ramos player.

I suppose it would depend on what gang you were playing against. Against Ressurectionists,being able to make more troops faster then them is a sure way to demoralize lol.

With a couple spider swarms and an executioner running about it can cause untold amounts of havoc for your opponent.

deploy ramos behind cover and out of sight.

Use the mobile tool kit to give him his + tome to Ca.

activate Ramos and salvage under fire. use casting expert create electrical creation.. use o ap spell create spider.

Use Rusty Alice to cast burn out on Ramos giving him reactivate.

Activate Ramos again, salvage under fire. create another spider.

next turn do it all again.. except the electrical creation its a unique so you only get 1 ( I found this out the hard way )

Thats what i thought, but the person generally knows the rules pretty well so i didnt want to argue or question him during one of his games.. Plus i think i was drooling over how nasty that would make my alp bomb. :evil:

so a little of topic, but i was told that it was errata-ed that any thing targeting you was considered a strike? at the time I didnt want to argue but this would be nice to know, since at the time An Alp was involved.

So spells DON'T cont as strikes?

Ok I played again against Pandora yesterday, the first time I've ever played against her.. My opponent cast dementia on his own Pandora, then every time he took a walk action he took a walk action he also took a wp duel and pushed 4"... I was like ok thats a little nifty.

After the game he showed me some combo that Pandora can do that is just an endless chain of spamming incite and pacify.

So my question is how many sorrows can Pandora have linked to her?

Is casting dementia on Pandora a viable tactic?

And how many time can Pandora use her Incite and Pacify ability?

normally league starts around 6pm and runs until 12. as far a turn out goes it all depend.. most of the turn out is on sat.

We are running a 6 week league at Red Castle Games in Portland Oregon. We are Starting the second week of the league now. I'm sorry this wasn't posted earlier but if you would like to join in you are welcome to.

You will keep track of victory points and the winner of the league will be the person with the most VP at the end

The League will Kick off at 6pm 1/29/11, Store is open until midnight or till people are done

No player may issue another second challenge to a player they just played unless stated otherwise by the Tournament Organizer.

Only Two games per week will count, however additional games can be played during the week for improved victory points with each player choosing their best game. You may Play Saturday Nights or Wednesday

All games should be played at Red Castle Games.

Scraps are played on a 3x3 playing surface with 1 Master. Brawls are

Played on a 4x4 playing surface with 2 Masters.

League will cost $10 for all 6 weeks, All will go into Tournament prize pool

well you can always proxy, them and use the card generator for now.. Im so hoping in book 3 they add some nore models that can be used with both Levi and Hamlin together

it could be fun, i was just thinking of the card shenanigans ans was like WOW.. if i run a brawl it will have to be with Levi and ramos, or the dreamer and hag. but thanks for the idea ratty..

yeah I completely agree with all of you.. In the past i have had players say $%#@ after I've done something and not want to continue. ( like dropping a dreamer terror bomb of doom in the middle of the event organizers gremlin crew, and watching them ALL fail their moral duels) so i dont have a problem with that, I personally wont quit a game, I'll play and learn from what happen and come back smarter and more prepared.

Like i said before I had talked to the event organizer about if players could quit a match and he told me no.. Unfortunately head had family obligations at the time of my match so I wasn't able to have him solve my issue..

This is out first Malifaux league so i view this as a learning experience..The whole issue for me was not that he wanted to quit, it was just attitude and behavior from the beginning of the match till the end..

lol i guess if i would have finished reading his lure of emptyness ability i would have seen the no constructs, gremlin, or henchmen.. well crap.... thats sucks.... time for a new title Hamlin+ levi =
