  1. Actually one of my major gripes: No, it isn't. Look through those PDFs and you'll notice a ton of Book 1 minions missing: Enslaved Nephilim, Scales of Justice, Guild Austringer, Guild Guard, Brass Arachnid, Jackalope, Electrical Creation, Poltergeist, Primordial Magic, and Student of Conflict.

There is no legitimate way to get the rules for those models without buying them (or their cards) or eBaying a copy of Book 1. That is seriously annoying.

This is something that annoys me as well.

They aren't "missing". The V2 cards were made prior to those models release.

  2. The fact I bought a new Von Schill box a few weeks ago and it came with V1 cards is an annoyance. As theres no download available and I'm unwilling to pay & ship new cards from America, not much can be done about it.

Snow Storm had an edit and V2 card, so I think theres probably V2 for other book 2 minis.

Anyone know if there a definitive list or something?

There are only V2 cards for the models in the PDF's listed on the right side of the forum.

You mean is there a list like the one on the malifaux website?

    There may just be...

This link is where you can find any differences between the book and the subsequent cards release as well as any errata that has come up for any of the models stats and/or rules.

  3. Have to point out that coming to this thread and reading from the beginning, it's *VERY* confusing. The flip flopping of the rulings and the quotes of edited out rulings make it hard work even for a veteran Pandora player.

If you're a new player looking for clarification on Mental Anguish, i'd definitely suggest you look somewhere other than this thread.

Otherwise, I think where we've landed is that the ability works exactly as everyone has always played it. The Box Opens removes all WP immunities, but it does not make non-living models susceptible to Terrifying. Mental Anguish *does* affect everything, even Constructs and Undead.

All you have to do is read the Marshals Threads then it sounds like. ;)

  4. I think I goofed on my initial replies...

    Reposting and fixed initial:

    1. Does The Box Opens remove Immune to Morale Duels granted by Spirit, Undead and Construct characteristics?

Yes. The Box opens removes any immunities to Wp Duels. And Morale Duels are Wp based Duels.

    1. Does a model that is Immune to Morale Duels that fails to resist a spell cast by Pandora fall back if Mental Anguish was triggered.

Yes. The falling back occurs as the Immunity was stripped away.

    1. Does a model that is Immune to Morale Duels take a Morale Duel caused by Coppelius' Deeply Disturbing ability if within 12" of Pandora and will it take 4 wounds (1 from Emotional Trauma and 3 from Night Stalker) if it fails?

    Yes. Pandora hurts everyone's feelings.

    1. If Pandora sucessfully casts a spell on Kirai and Kirai resists with a Crow, does Pandora lose 2 wounds from Kirai's Twisted Mind?

Only if Kirai was successful in Resisting the Spell.

  5. So a construct, undead, nightmare or spirit regardless of whether it has Immune to Influence will never fall back due to the Mental Anguish trigger as they aren't living and can't suffer morale duels and "The Box Opens" can't remove that as it's not an immunity... right?

The Box Opens removes Immunity to Wp Duels. Not Morale Effects. Which Mental Anguish is. Pandora could declare the Trigger I guess, it just won't do anything in the case of Undead, Constructs, Spirits and Nightmares.

  6. This is plainly wrong; quoting from rulebook

A model that loses a morale duel OR is affected by an effect that forces a model to fall back is falling back.

Mental Anguish is NOT a morale duel

    1. Does The Box Opens remove Immune to Morale Duels granted by Spirit, Undead and Construct characteristics?

No. The Box opens only removes any immunities to Wp Duels.

But a Morale duel is a type of Wp duel, as your link sais and the box opens sais loses any immunities to Wp duel, an immunity to morale duel is an immunity to a type of Wp duel, so has it been ruled a lot of times before on these very forums?

and this solves 3 as well

Ca(:masks :crows) Mental Anguish: After defender loses a Wp Resist Duel it immediately falls back and it counts as losing a Morale Duel.

    Also quoting the rulebook (page19):

Effect is a game term referring to anything that changes a model’s state. Some models are able to ignore or are immune to game effects (X). A model immune to or able to ignore X cannot be affected or modified by X when resolving the effect. Duels requiring X do not occur.

Ok, specific situation to make this clear...

Clockwork Rider has Power Cycle + Armor (Total of 4)

Clockwork Rider suffers Cut Away 4 times (Total armor of 0)

Clockwork rider changed Power Cycle to lose the +3 armor (Still total armor of 0, i get that, i guess)

    then

Clockwork Rider changes Power Cycle to regain the +3 Armor (Cut away has not expired yet)

    Does the Clockwork Rider still have Armor 0 (1 + 3 - 4)

    or

Does the Clockwork Rider have Armor 3 (1 + 3 - 1) because when the armor would be "negative" those Cut Away

    Armor 0.

Cut Away is an effect that expires during the Closing Phase that is still on the Mechanical Rider. When the Spell was cast, all the requirements were present.
