Yes, Luton to Milton Keynes is direct train then a 15 min walk.
Sorry but Luton and MK are on different north-south routes, no direct train service. Luton is on the East Midlands mainline, London (St Pancras) to Sheffield etc. MK is on the West Coast Main Line, London (Euston) to Birmingham, the North West and Glasgow. The two rail options are Luton to London, change stations (5 minute walk) and London to MK or Luton to Bedford to Bletchley to MK - Bedford to Bletchley is Mon-Sat only.

Hi Wag!
nice to see you paint something other than BB Orks *grin*
Cool looking model! I agree with Viruk - maybe a wash or two?
On a side note: am I seeing the base from your second round IP entry?
That base has been used for quite a few minis!

Guess I'm just curious, yes I do look - very interesting sometimes.

Interesting stories people, keep 'em coming

Not too sure the Wychwood Brewery would like your attitude linked to such comments with their Hobgoblin logo. But then you're in Denmark - funny but all the Danes I've actually met have been nice people. Oh well there's always an exception.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! It's driving me mad, one minute the gallery shows 9 entries, the next all of them and lots of comments but when I try to look I get either the first comments or none at all for most entries. Only once in maybe 50 attempts has it worked today....
-
just tried to view gallery, sometimes only a few entries show, looked at mine - 1 comment but doesn't appear! try again and lists 9 comments but only the first one shows.
I commented on every entry but not sure now whether they actually posted as I can't see although 'post successful' came up

I know my kids had some small dinosaur models and this was one of them, not sure if it's still around but I'll look. How soon do you need one?

I use a magnifier on a stand, my eyes ain't what they used to be. Add a bright light and my painting has improved - I can actually see where the brush is going :ahhhhh:

Angelina Jolie as Perdita
Yui Ichikawa as Misaki

That's Lizcam and RogerBunting - in case you missed it Roger proposed to Liz on CMON and she said yes!

Depends whether you're going for red or ginger. Ginger tends to be much more varied in tone; I start with GW fiery orange, wash with chesnut wash then highlight with a mix of fo and bleached bone, add some highlights of golden yellow (just a few) and then take it from there.

Used to be gamer but painting/modelling has taken over - mainly due to the competitions here and on WaMP. Haven't played a game for about 2 years.

Iron Painter
in Wyrd Board Help and Code of Conduct
Posted
Admittedly I've been away from here for quite a while, far too long from Wyrd's great minis. Anyhow I'm sorting out a load of my old photo archive and found pictures of my IP entries but not all are 'catalogued' properly. So just wondering if anybody has a complete list of the IP competitions and the themes for each round in each. Hopefully one of the younger contributors, well younger than my ancient years, will have kept a record of the madness that was IP and will remember Wag's Bloodbowl Orcs. Due to eyesight and hand problems my mini painting has taken a back seat but the memories of Wyrd's Iron Painter competitions will be cherished.
