Happy birthday!
-
Wrap everything (and when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING) in tinfoil.
-
As someone (or rather, many have) said before me, Welcome aboard!
-
I just hope we'll see it translated soon - it's by far the most awesome painting book I've ever seen...
-
Bonne fête!
-
Would the DVD's be http://www.miniaturementor.com/ ?
Nope - the DVD is from Jeremie Bonamant and is in production right now.
I'll agree with LavonYor about Darson's book, and with Ritual about how I really wish the 4 or so articles I translated for that book would at least see the light of day (guess that also osrta meets what Wren's saying...)
-
I believe the texts for Darkson Designs #2 were handed in back in '06 (at least if the dates on my e-mail are to be believed).
For the Great Book of Painting Figurines, I've got no idea of how the translation's going, but owning a copy I can assure you that it is indeed THE reference book many of us have been wishing for.
I've also heard rumors of a how-to-paint DVD...
-
From what we've been given to understand on the official Rackham forum, no - this one'll be metal only.
-
Welcome on board, it's been a while!
-
Have a great birthday!
-
It might be one of those "it looks better in person" jobs, but it looks more than good from here...
-
Thanks guys.
I resolve to get myself a new camera this year to be able to join in on painting contests....
-
I'd never say that.....
.....not outright, no....
Though the way he jabbers on here sometimes.... (no offense meant to anyone)
-
Isn't there an old saying that goes "Don't ask the man in charge, go see the woman who's aware of what's going on instead"?
-
To the risk of sounding like a heretic on here, the stuff they use on their prepaints isn't so bad if you just play with them.
And if you DO intend to repaint them, it's generally thin enough that you don't need to strip the mini down.

Sept. releases were the Griffin executors, and Scorpion Nefarius Prime and Dasyatis Clone.
-
The green of the new Kayl isn't finished yet. But right now, it looks to me like he's shaping up to be better than the old one...
-
Pretty sure they're supposed to release before that - the army book's for May, isn't it?
-
Are you saying that's not what he already does with that Wyrd business of his?
-
To be honest, the second scientist kinda reminds of Bunsen from the muppets honestly, while the first one reminds me of Dr. Wily from Megaman.
I think you're on to something!
-
Ick. Sorry, what little German I know wouldn't be of any help. Had it been French, however....
-
The third scientist makes me think of Professor Membrane, from Invader Zim. Definitely like it (I'll have to get my hands on him).
-
Happy birthday!
