Congrats on a job well done!

I quite like the top one even though I'm not a sci-fi fan.
-
Very cool osl! Certainlly not something I can pull off so nicely.

We are all gonna die??!!

Just when I thought I would cut down on my gaming time to get on painting, Nathan added 50 more games...
-
Really great scene. Lots of details to it.

I have to agree with Eric on his point that everyday we breathe, ingest, inject or in any other ways take in toxic stuff involuntarily. Of course there are people who do it on their free will.
From my point of view, the quantity of paint that is being taken in through brushlicking into our body is relatively small enough to be expelled out of our system without harm. Unless the amount is so big I don't think it poses any real health hazards.
I'll be more concerned with the air I breathe and the food I eat everyday rather but thanks for the concern Skya.

Will they come out with dead markers?

Very nice indeed!

1) Favorite: Color of paint (the specific paint color listed on the label)
VMC smoke & VMC Ivory
2) Favorite: Brand of paint
Although I use mainly VMC, I find some of their colours rather crappy so there's no obvious favorite. I've tried Derivant and I think they are pretty good.
3) Favorite: Sculptor
Not too sure of their names but mainly the Rackham sculptors.
4) Favorite: Painter
Naming just one is impossible for me. Allan C, Jeremie B, Yellow one, Rusto, Automaton & many more.
5) Favorite: Mini Company (other than Wyrd, we all know it's everyones #1)
Rackham
6) Painting Preference: Metalics vs. NMM
NMM
7) Mini Preference: Fantasy vs. Sci Fi
Fantasy
8) Mini Preference: Male vs. Female
No preference.
9) Mini Preference: Human vs. Monstrous
No preference.
10) Favorite: Paint Brush you use the most
W&N series 7 size 1.
11) Favorite: Paint Job You've Done (provide link if possible)
It is one of my favourite sculpt.
12) Favorite: Paint Job Ever (provide link if possible)
13) Desire: A mini company from which you've never painted a mini, but want to
Enigma
14) Desire: A mini you most want to paint, but haven't
Andrea Beelphegor
15) Favorite: Mini related forum (again, other than your obvious favorite; Wyrd)
CMON
16) Favorite: Site you find most useful in terms of helping learn mini painting/Sculpting
CMON
17) Desire: A sculpt you would love to see, but doesn't yet exist
Can't think of any really
18) Ambition: What would you most like to achieve in the painting hobby
To continue to learn new techniques and hopefully get better.
19) Least Favorite: Thing you most dislike about mini painting (think eyestrain, back ache, being socially outcast, lost time, costs, etc...)
Dropping a painted mini!!!
20) Least Favorite: Paint Brand you've tried
Games Workshop
21) Least Favorite: Mini Company who's sculpts/style just don't make you want to paint them.
I'm just not too much into sci fi but there really nothing that I wouldn't paint.

Oh my gosh that trolless

I feel a good studio paintjob works more towards making someone wanna buy it then freaking them away. It's rather how complicated and detailed the sculpt is that deters I feel.
-
The best part of has to be the belly with those veins and intestines showing. The weapons could get some more attention to make them more striking.
-
Those paintpots on the top left pic is abit distracting IMO.
-
Great site and I'm surprised you are 40! I always thought you are in your late 20's or early 30's.
-
What you see might not be what you get I'm afraid. We have some folks here ordered AT-43 stuff previously and the quality of the paintjob is quite bad. No eyes for the commanders even.
-
That is very handy for people like me who owns a rather big collection of paints. I'm seriously considering ordering one. Thanks Doc, nice find!
-
Not really that exciting to me.
-
That looks rather interesting. Seriously I think Privateer Press and Rackham has a bigger part to play in this.
-
I love most of his sculpts and this is one of them.
-
That kind of paintjob is what we are used to seeing about 2 decades ago, which is probably why they are called legendary.
-
Saw it on CMON and I though what a smooth and really cool mini! My only nitpick would be the green cloak. Would like to see some weathering like those you done on the cloth attached to the shield. Also maybe just a bit more shadow in it. The rest is really top notch.

@tidoco - Thanks for the compliment.
@FF - the wings are from some plastic Pegasus which I had lying around. I bought them mainly to get their wings actually hehe.

That turquoise blue is fast becoming your signature colour. Great job on his face!
