  1. LOL. You make assumptions, dear lady. Perhaps, and I won't speak for Eric, but maybe we're both wearing dresses again. Eric, seems to me we've had this discussion elsewhere....
  2. Legends of the Fall (yeah, it's older, but a re-watch for me) Serenity Pirates of the Carribbean (I watched this three times the weekend I bought the DVD) March of the Penguins (Go ahead and razz me, but I enjoyed it!) Troy Pitch Black Big Fish.... ...whoops...the whip is cracking, back to work.
  3. We have to wear pants here? Oh oh.
  4. Bah, takes a lot for an attractive lady to annoy me.
  5. G'day Becca, and props :thumb: to you for encouraging personal growth, for getting out of that one small corner to explore...another corner. :vb_tongue Prolific poster, is she? Well that's good, bring life and another femal voice to the cacophony...err...stimulating discussions.
  6. Well, my vote is very decidedly in the Kindred corner. I love vampires. However, I don't think the movie really did them justice. I've always been a huge fan of White Wolf's vampires, and the vampires from the CCG, Jyhad and later V:TES. Show me some Brujah and that'd rock!
  7. One thing I will say for Ms Haley, she is a consumate artist. It was always a pleasure to work with her paintjobs because the photos were very well done. ...oh...and she looked pretty good in a latex outfit. I'll agree with Eric, the head does seem a smidge large. Interesting genre she's chosen for her first (?) sculpt. Looks like it'd fit in a Harry Potter diorama, non?
  8. I ordered two as well. One to sit in the packaging and the other to receive some Pr0fane attention. I will have to swap out the weapon though, for some reason he screams "axe" to me.
  9. That roxx. You're right...props to the guy for creative thinking. <mumbles>where did I toss those old CD racks???
  10. Hmm...that is an interesting observation, vince. But, if they are a squad in battle, shouldn't they be facing in the same direction in order to focus their efforts as a squad? In Dark Age, technology is very unreliable and the Coil's discs are no exception. To bring down any significant foe, they do need to concentrate their fire. I must admit your comment did cause me a chuckle though, thanks.
  11. Following the success of our Genesis Releases, we will be releasing not one, not two, but three new Forsaken Warband boxes to start your own Crusade with in January. Each box includes six models; a Unit Leader and five warriors. But especially exciting is that the Bane and Strike boxes each come with a Special Edition mini, exclusive to these boxsets! These boxes are available now for only US $26.99 each. DAG1107 Forsaken Bane Warband Easily the most numerous of all of the Forsaken battle units, the Bane are the core close combat shock troops in the Forsaken Armies. They are the first to join the fray in most conflicts, and their casualty rate is one of the highest in the Army, not because of their skill, but because of their tactical role. A single blow from one of their vicious maces is enough to knock many opponents from their feet immediately, and they are adept at using both ends of the two-headed instrument in whirling attacks that deliver multiple blows with a single swing. The uniform of the Bane consists of an armored suit that is among the hardiest of all the Forsaken troops. Their flowing capes and unique helmets are their badge of honor, the signature marks of their corps, and each Bane wears his or hers proudly in the knowledge that they are the backbone of their Army. DAG1108 Forsaken Coil Warband The Coil are the most commonly appearing ranged weaponry troop in the Forsaken Armies. Although their primary strategic purpose is to attack from a distance, the Coil are far from helpless if mired in melee combat. They each bear a vicious mace referred to as Morning Sticks for occasions in which their Coil Launchers are no longer practical. DAG1109 Forsaken Strike Warband The most skilled of the Forsaken Troops may find themselves promoted to the Strike corps. Strike are without a doubt the most fearsome of all the squad-based corps in the Forsaken Armies, and for good reason. Each Strike wields a massive two-handed broadsword, a beautifully crafted weapon forged to the highest standards. For those enemies that manage to move in close enough to a Strike to be safe from the broad strokes of his sword, they are also armed with viciously spiked gauntlets on each hand.
  12. I spit on mine when it acts up. Tough love, that's the key.
  13. You know...if they make a few more like this (and sans filigree) this would make fantastic conversion material for a Necromunda Goliath gang...a little more feral than the juiced-up pansy boys they are now.
  14. Oi vey...what a bunch. To think I just visited this thread to see more pics of Celtic Lilly and instead I'm exposed to this debauchery! Good on ya!!!
  15. Alrighty, this is an idea I've had for some months now, and it's definitely in the "different" category. Unfortunately, it's gameplay value is dubious at best..these would definitely be entirely in the realm of painter/collector. Women in Pilates positions. I am absolutely a huge fan. Check these out: Pilates Woman ...argh...and of course, I can't find any of the more interesting ones right now. But talk about an excercise in muscle tone, hmm.
  16. That's correct, he is to scale with the rest of our line.
  17. If you're not opposed to minimal conversion.... Simply replace his shottie with a satchel or somewhat, and ta-da!
  18. Good grief...those axes rival my Dragyri Blizzard's! I'm with you on those Mohawks, FF. As long as they're not on vertically challenged suicidal types.
  19. Yes, it is sad. But perhaps there will be a silver lining to this cloud. SteveB has been and continues to be, a huge asset to Dark Age Games. Not only as a sculptor and painter, but with excellent input to our creative process. I definitely wish him well no matter what his future plans.
  20. Yeah...what he said. Try using the same font as you do for "Wyrd" only not so in-your-face as Wyrd. Say, black with the green shadow. Don't forget the "..." between your tagline and "Wyrd".
  21. The Dark Age Games list has been added. Just want to clarify that there is a difference between Dark Age Games (that's me) and Dark Ages Miniatures (not me). I'll be enhancing the list as time permits by adding our unit descriptors. That's a lot of data.
  22. Deja vu. I heard that somewhere else tonight, didn't I?
  23. <bump> Thought I'd bump this so everybody can see the spiffy new studio paintjob on Dragyri Blizzard!! Oh, and show a picture of Blizzard and Frostbite side by side.
  24. Okay...will do. I'd love to see something in ice and lava too. Check out our Dragyri and you'll see why. Yes, I'm familiar with spielemesse essen. If I'm not mistaken, we had a Special Edition miniature only available there last year. May have been two years ago. Heh heh. Do you take PayPal? I ask this in thread because I'm sure others will be curious too.
